HoN won't update please help

i go to update hon from patch 2.6.11 to the latest patch and over and over again it keeps saying "status: failed to connect to server... from 2.6.11"
is that on my end of on s2's end? pelase help

i had the same problem , but i fixed it using Hotspot Shield .

It may have been a combination of things, however to overcome this problem i ran the hon_update.exe as administrator. When HoN closed and opened up the newly-reformed updater, i was greeted with Request failed: Timeout was reached (Connection time-out).

I then input, " ForceUpdate 2.6.14 patch.hon.s2games.com/ patch.hon.s2games.com/
And sent the command.

I also disabled mods and computer protection software.

Hey I have a similar issue with the current update 2.6.13 to 2.6.14 .

[Updater] The manifest size or checksum doesn't match the value retrieved from the server, unable to perform update...

Please let me know how to fix this. Its the first time i have had any sort of issue with the updates.

Please make sure you are running HoN with Administrator privileges.

Additionally, if you are experiencing issues with downloading, please make sure HoN is a Trusted (or Safe) Application on your firewall or antivirus suite. If that doesn't work, try disabling your firewall or antivirus) while updating.

ive been getting errors for hours now too, always this one:

and when i do manage to get past this somehow it updates at an average speed of 5 kb/s... been at it for about 5 hours now for an update thats less than 20mb and furthest i got was 91% and now its going nowhere anymore -___-
