Hello forum,
I have been getting weird fps spikes while playing hon lately. It will start out at around 30 at the start of the game, drop to 20-25 during laning, then maybe 10-15 during big team fights. In the middle of all this, the fps will spike up to around 80 for 2 seconds, then drop back down, then spike up again after another 15-20 seconds, then drop etc. It will continue to spike and drop throughout an entire match. This was all happening at medium settings so I lowered the graphics to lowest possible and experienced no change in fps and the constant high fps spikes still happened.
Some specs of the lappy:
-Win7 premium 64bit OS
-intel i5 2450M (2.50Ghz) quad-core
-8gb ddr3 memory
-Radeon 6630m gpu
This scenario is very frustrating because my old lappy can run hon smoother (actually better in some cases) at the exact same settings...
Some old lappy specs:
-Win7 premium 64bit OS
-intel pentium dual-core (2.20Ghz)
-4gb memory
-no dedicated graphics card (integrated graphics)
I realize that the 6630m is not a very fast gpu (485mhz), but I thought that the 6630m (in combination with the quad core) would be able to have a decent edge over a pentium combined with integrated graphics found in my old lappy. Hon is the only game that has this problem, games like arma2 and css can run very smoothly on low-med graphics (arma2 and css can't run on the old lappy). I didn't think that hon was that much of a demanding game...
I tried using the open GL and that did not fix the problem.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

P.S. I do not play scout...
