This community is full of trolls and ragers. It's keep us down.
My solution to this is small and simple.
A LIKE button for the losing team.
When you've lost a game you're given the option to 'like' your team. Pressing the button will grant all your teammembers, except yourself, a 10% refund of the mmr they lost.
If everyone on the losing team pressed it then you might get 40% of your lost mmr back. It's a "thank you for trying atleast :)"
Why this option?
To get nicer player in higher ratings. Or to keep the unfriendly players down below.
Why only the losing team?
The winning didn't lose any mmr, so there is no reason to refund.
Can we have a dislike button aswell?
No. That would get abused harder then <something that gets abused a lot>
I feel this option should encourage players to be make their teammates like them. What do you guys think?
(I prefixxed under gameplay cause I don't know what to pick for this)

I dont think this would work, because it could be abused by sub accounts and newly created accounts. Or amongst friends who would obviously vote for each other.
I do like the idea though as a seperate information. But it is to easy to cheat with to make it have an effect on the mmr. Just my oppinion.

Playing with friends is something that should be encouraged. I don't see how them liking their team is abusing? If they are the only ones voting up they both only get a 10% refund. And hey, it did save you from two guys yelling at eachother in your chat cause friends don't do that.
I don't see how alts/subs can be used to abuse this. You can only like your team if you were part of the team that lost. So using a sub to cheat would have to mean that sub was on your team.

The idea is good, but reducing mmr on lose will cause a disbalance in mmr (people would gain more mmr than what they lose on a 50% win stat).
I really like the idea, but instead of reducing the mmr loss, i would reward them with silver coins. These have no effect on game balance, but people seem to hunt for silver really hard.

That's a good suggestion. You can even add a bonus for your team getting liked x games in a row by different users.

I think cynics will refuse to like their team just in case their ex-team mates won't.
Also sometimes you lose on a team and there is clearly 1 person at fault. You won't want to like 3 others and give 1 person an unjustified like.

I think the players that invite you to the group after winning are the kind that will Like their team

That depends on the situation.
He could try, but fail. This bonus should motivate you to be kind rather then rage at him. So your teammates feel like liking the team.
But not liking the team because of that is like saying you don't wanna ward/stack because they don't deserve it. That's exactly the mentality I want to get rid of. :)

Exactly what I wanted to suggest , but how it works? maybe like that : You lose the game , the winners have the right to click on like or not , 1 silver per like , so if 5v5 ... you can have 5 silvers extra . So be nice with the opposition might win you extra 5 silvers :>

Max is four cause you shouldn't get a reward yourself when liking your team. Otherwise everyone would press it always.
