Channeling(Some skills shouldn't cancel it)

When using a channeling spell, certain skills shouldn't cancel it. Namely, Assassin's Shroud's Stealth and Devourer's decay. I don't know how many more spells shouldn't cancel channeling since I won't think of em right now due to a big headache so that's it I think this should be fixed 'cause if this is game balance it REALLY isn't good.

Except I don't really want to see Voodoo Jester getting off an ult and avoiding stuns THAT cheaply (for example). He should either be forced to position well or get BKB, which is balanced because it's more expensive.

The difference is you can get hit by aoe abilities with "assasins/lothars" whereas you cannot with bkb, it should be your own option what you would want to buy, get dust if you dont want to get hit by invis jester ulti.

Yeah HankyPanky's argument fails because dust is 180 gold and BKB blocks ALL spells(and gives hp but w/e)

Nobody uses Lothar on Witch Doctor in competitive DotA. You've got to be joking. Even Dagon is more often seen on him than Lothar. Assassin's Shroud and Voodoo Jester is a nonexistant balance issue. And actually, by personal preference I never get BKB for him either. I get a Guinsoo, Hex one guy and make sure my teammates are all over the others before I set down my Ward.

uhh he wont pull it off if you buy dust. this is how it was in dota and nobody bought lothars on him because its junk and easily countered. if im playing against wd i pray he buys lothars so he can be totally useless all game.

I got something really annoying playing yesterday. I made the Lothar's equivalent to combo with Glacius' ult, and when I ulted and tried to use Lothar's, Glacius simply stopped casting the ult :/

Night Hound is a classic counter to the AoE strat with his cloud. And Devourers Decay? This just makes me see your opinion as next to worthless.

Yes and I'm saying that we will not see Witch Doctors pulling off things like this. This combo is perfectly possible in DotA, but it's never seen. Why? Because it's crap.

ive played my fair share of pubs, it isn't a big deal. comparing wd's that get shroud/lothars to wd's that get codex/dagon jester/wd with dagon is always the one that comes out on top in my experience. and even more is the ones that get portal/blink -> less death on them, 100% maledict/cursedground, awesome cask/stunbouncy thing placement.

see him lothars after shroud? pyro would just laugh and kill him right out , pyro and all the other Aoe heroes, i.e behemoth etc.

Ive seen it alot actually, pub games obviously but that doesnt disregard it does it.
