Who are we looking for?
Mature, patient, talkative, friendly, social gamers from any skill range and any region who can speak English well.
Rules/Requirements
Good manners at all times
No unauthorised use of /c m. We ask that everyone uses the chat channel/whispers/private messages for conversations, welcomes, replying to clan-announcements/TMM group searches etc. so as not to annoy everyone else who is online - 1x line of TMM group searching per 15 minutes is allowed. Otherwise, /c m is for use by officers/mentors only. This is due to the high number of members online, and to minimise annoyance.
There is no MMR requirement to join our clan
Maturity - there is no age requirement to join our clan, but a sensible level of maturity is expected. Immaturity is likely to get you kicked out.
A good level of English. Anyone who can't string a sensible sentence together will be declined an invitation to the clan.
Patience and respect - We ask that our members have respect and patience for others, particularly our officers who are dealing with many daily requests and are dedicating their time to help you out.
It greatly increases your chances of successfully receiving an invite to our clan if you can show the officer who is helping you out that you are a sensible, mature and patient individual, who understands our rules regarding use of /c m and that good manners are an essential part of our community. Any bad manners and immaturity will result in you being kicked from the clan instantly. If you see anyone in [D] being bad mannered, report it to an officer IMMEDIATELY and they will investigate the matter and resolve it swiftly. Do not take the matter into your own hands, as this will only reflect just as badly on yourself.
What we offer
Our forums, which consist of many helpful, active members and a wide variety of information and sub-forums can be found here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/ClanD/index/
Daily no-stats bp/ap/sd/ar/lp Inhouses are hosted by our Inhouse Coordinators.
Our Inhouse Coordinators are specially selected mature individuals who can successfully host and oversee Inhouses to ensure that everyone has a fun time and remains mannered at all times. Any problems in an Inhouse should be reported straight to the Inhouse Coordinator who is experienced in helping you out and resolving any problems as swiftly as possible.
Priority seating is given to [D] members when it's busy (which it usually is).
We are now exclusively hosting Hunters v Scouts Inhouses regularly as a change from the regular Inhouses, though seating for this game-mode is restricted to those who have experience in the game/have watched a few games + read the rules so that players know what's happening, as it is quite complicated to understand. The rules for Hunters v Scouts can be found here (http://www.reddit.com/r/HeroesofNewerth/comments/t9ww1/you_d_prey_hunters_v_scouts/). If you'd like some replays, please ask me in game and I can find some for you - the replays in the reddit post are no longer available.
A bot in our channel (named rehtaeH) which announces Inhouses on clan chat, and can provide you with personal stats for every hero by simply typing a full stop followed by the first four letters of the hero name. For example ".valk" , or for another player's hero stats: ".devo walzy" , without the "s.
Clan D has one competitive team.We aspire to maintain a high standard within our team and our requirements reflect that, and can be found in the pinned notice in our applications forum (http://w11.zetaboards.com/ClanD/forum/3393818/).
Help with absolutely anything HoN or non-HoN related is freely available - we have a wide variety of knowledge amongst our large member base, both regarding HoN, internet, and real life matters.
Teamspeak 3 - We have our own TS3 server which is active and talkative with both serious and hilarious conversations, particularly in the evenings, details of which can be found pinned in the General Discussion section on our forum
Mentoring materials/guides/advice are freely available on the forum to all members
Friendly, free, high quality personal mentoring which is tailored to your needs is available for loyal clan members who are willing to learn (currently available for anyone up to 1700 MMR), and we have several people including myself who will gladly help you improve your game!
If you're interested, come visit us at /j clan d and ask for an invite from one of our available offers. The available officers, as well as a link to our forums are listed and updated frequently in the channel topic.
Our current officers who are able to deal with any requests/questions you may have when they are online are: WalzY, DrunkenGrunt, HeatherT, oh_no, _Vengeance_, Fyhnovic, PlasmaWisp, and Milol.
Add our channel to your auto-connect list by putting an x in the box above the player list in the channel :)
Hopefully see you soon :D
Kind regards,
WalzY
