Yes it is any of the 2 maps will work but no midwar ! your PC crash because you got sux pc i guees XD

the event its about 7 days .. you can play 10 games today and more 15 days more 6 days or you can play all the game today .. or you can play every day about 3 games ...

its dosent metter you have 7 days to play 25 games and get all the gifts ...

Btw your logic is flawed since in a case for a supermarket you can get a refund for that amount you bought it for and buy it again for the sale :/

The length of 7 days seems very unfair to me. Many random events can occur during that time, which will make you unable to play for the full length of the event. I think the events with such big packages should be at least twice as long as this one...

I do agree that they should give people at least some sort of coin package instead of nothing, when a person already has one of the things included in this. Maybe 50% of the coins back.
I have close to half of the avatars already, and regular taunt.
Not that it really matters for me, of course, because I'm going to be in Israel until 4 days too late for this anyways. But. It's definitely unfair for people who worked their asses off getting these things legitimately, and then now get little to no reward while other people get all this **** for less than 4 games a day for a week.

OK!!!! Since some people obviously don't like to read I will tell what this is all about!!!

1) Play 10 games with or without a friend and you will be rewarded Doll Master FOR FREE!!
2) Play 10 games with a friend and you will earn the first pack FOR FREE.
3) Play 25 games with a friend and earn the third pack FOR FREE.

Only MMR count, Mid Wars does not count! It doesn't matter if it's CM or NM as long as it's MMR!

That's what most of the legitimate complaining is about. Players who have been playing for a long time, and so have already earned many if not all of the rewards for this event, are getting much less for their dedication to this game and their support of S2. It's the players who don't buy gold coins, or are newer that are getting the most out of this. Undoubtedly it wasn't intended as a **** you to those players, but that's how it's coming out to many of them.

I think the main point I'm trying to get across is the idea that I understand why people might be a bit disgruntled at receiving things for free which they had already paid money for, but my complaint is that it shouldn't mean that these people must be disgruntled so far to the extent that they threaten to never play the game again - to me, that response is out of proportion and unreasonable. Again, I repeat: I understand the sentiment but I cannot agree with the response.

(Look I've split my post into sections! :D)
I used the analogy of the TV (and I would like to make clear I am well aware of its faults - indeed I explicitly identified some of them) to convey the idea that we shouldn't be angry to such an extent when others get things for a lower price or cost than what we had paid for them in an earlier time. I think the analogy is still suitable for this purpose, despite its faults in other areas.

Now to solve this disgruntlement, which again I acknowledge is fine and understandable, I think that it would be reasonable for S2 to offer some kind of small compensation. Some ideas include maybe 1/4 silver refund of the items which have been duplicated, or maybe some exclusive new avatar/taunt/symbol/something to those people who had quite a few of the stuff beforehand. I don't think it's fair on S2 at all to have to refund the whole lot in coins because they are a company whose staff members have to make a living on selling these cosmetic add-ons through a free-to-play game, and again, the people who bought these alt avatars/whatever beforehand got to use them earlier than everyone else. It would not be too bad to have to reach some sort of compromise, even though I still believe that such an extreme response to an event which is to reward players is unwarranted.

I know that this contest might be awesome for new players, however, for us, who's already got most of the bundled avatars, it's nearly pointless event. For example, one of my friends has played over 3,3k matches and he will receive just 2 avatars and custom icon slot from this event (puppet and snow zephyr). This is what i find as the biggest issue of S2. You attract new player and then don't treat them anyhow.

After every game there will be a 'rewards' tab on the left (you can check past games in the Match Stats tab) along with a 'stats' tab. You'll be familiar with the stats tab it's the same as before but the rewards tab shows like how many silver coins and stuff. On the right hand side of the Rewards tab is a column which shows your progress towards these GameHoN rewards (how many games you've played for each reward) and what you'll be getting.

You need to update and reapply all your mods. If this doesn't work, then try checking the bug section to see if there is something there, if not then try sending an email to TechSupport@S2Games.com or by visiting the helpdesk at http://helpdesk.s2games.com/ and choosing the Technical Support category.

This doesn't apply to pub games does it? I'm playing on mac the game crashes about 60% of the time at the start of each game. Although I always reconnect, I have a permanent leaver status. Since I haven't found a solution, may the prizes be given in public games too so i don't miss out on the event?

It's lame to whoever bought them with silver as well, I bought taunt and gore taunt for 1800 silver... and now everyone gets them for free.

Last night i noticed a bug in the reward system. On Sunday evening I had unlocked the Doll alt-avatar and the social bundle, then played one more game . When i logged out i was 21/25 for the fanatic bundle. Last night when i logged in i had now 19/25 games played for the fanatic bundle, but the social bundle and all its contents are unlocked. I'm not complaining or anything, just thought i should mention it. have a nice day

I bought most of the alts with gold and silver, and I don't see what's to complain about. Other people are now able to enjoy what I already do, and I don't mind that they get it for participating in the event. I'm happy for my fellow players. ^^

I got an idea which might solve the problem of mutts asking for refunds, if you own the avatar or whatever already, why can't we just have the option to send it to a friend as like a present if they were not able to complete the event, this would like maybe make people hi-5 instead of rage on forums asking the same question 25 times.

Mods, let me give you an example of what people who tells everyone who thinks this event is mistreating the ones keeping this game afloat are allowed to say. This patch just gets worse and worse depending on how much you've supported S2. 30$ of coins is nothing, and with a ridiculous price of 8-9$ per 3000 silver coins alt avatar I have a hard time believing you have more than 15% of the items on that list.

Also, you should please the ones supporting the game if the game is doing well. Not bring up all the F2P leeches who have never paid/supported S2 for anything up to the same level as those who have. - you bought the full game and still to this day receive major benefits for it, like having all heroes unlocked and the option of EA; none of us f2p-ers will ever have that. Don't believe me on how good you have it? After GameHoN is over, go make a fresh f2p account and try getting it to level 5 or even 10.

- neither you nor anybody else will get a refund for all the avatars bought before this event; deal with it or continue arguing about it, idc, but its THE SAME with all other such events all over the world in many different branches, from food industry to clothes etc.: if you bought something - anything - for money and they are giving it out for free even the next day, you can rage at the salesman and company all you want, but you will not get a refund, anywhere, ever. Don't believe me? Try it out in any of your nearest shops.

Here you go comparing physical objects to a virtual item again, you can't even trade the virtual item if you already have it. I wouldn't be complaining if I got an extra cucumber or an extra TV. And no, they won't deny you taking another TV or a pair of pants for free just because you bought one at full prince six months ago like they do in this case. I see no reason at all why S2 shouldn't refund 75% of the price in silver coins to people who already have the item. If you can't see how this is mistreating to people who supported S2 prior to this event I'm done trying to lecture you.

It's already done, not a single game played since I saw this event. I opened up DoTA 2 instead and haven't missed it one bit. I even have gold coins on the account right now but it will probably start to rot on my account.

I don't mind them being handed out because I don't feel cheated. If others are getting stuff for free that I bought, whatever, I still got what I paid for. Doesn't make me enjoy the alts any less. When I'm running around singing "A Whole New World" when playing with the Nomadadin alt, doesn't matter to me at all others are getting it for free.

Yes, a lot players do go about playing the game and never spending a single penny to support the game we enjoy, but many of those players may have their reasons for not being able to buy gold as you or I do. I feel really bad that there are players who have given up hope on owning all the heroes, not being able to get all the alts they wanna have, etc., and if these events can being cheer to those players, I'm happy.

Sure. Get them all, but unfonrtantley I wasn't home at that time. You as a norwegian should know that during our wintervacation we're more hooked up in skiing rather than HoN. So that I wasn't there was my bad, sure. BUT even if we would get all heroes for 10-20$ legacies are still getting the new heroes after the EA limit is gone. In the end all those new heroes will cost more than 30$.
