Negative strength on a hero

With Bezerker's Strength sap, you can have negative Str;
When you have charges on you, you cannot be killed (afaik), but when the charges exspire, you die.
Care to explain this, I'm confused on how this works, and whether this is intended or not.

I'm surprised no one figured this out before, bezerker has been out for how long now?I might mess around with shadowblade later, see what happens.

It's only possible to get a max of -20 strength with Berzerker in a real game (needs Restoration Stone).

On the other hand, if you have duplicate hero with Berzerker.....that's a different story.
