We have some really good guides on how to play certain heroes. I'd like to create a topic with some tips on how to fight against certain heroes. For me it took a long time to realize couple of the skills.

I'll start with a few.

Moonqueen's ultimate: Usually people back up when confronted by the enemy. Against moonqueen you should never run away from your creep wave. As long as you have some friendly units nearby the moonqueen's ultimate is not so devastating as it hits random targets around her. If you are the only target available, tough luck.

Bloodhunter's ultimate: This is really hard to counter. What it does is you lose life the further you run. Usually it means that you must just stand and watch the red avenger slice you into edible pieces. Strong strenght heroes might be able to take the damage by running, but for weak caster heroes the only option is to stay put and try to stun or alarm your friends to help you. Good example is the puppet master can put the strings on the blood hunter and wait for the hemorrhage to run it's course. After that, RUN!

Accursed's ultimate: The skill makes all damage into hitpoints (no, it doesn't work the opposite way, you can heal him normally also). Basically what you need to do is stop nuking him once you see the blue glow eminating. The ultimate activates when accursed is below 400hp, but it can be triggered manually also if the accursed so wishes. No amount of damage can kill him (even if you do more than his current health), they are just added up to his hitpoints. He can be stunned and slowed down normally and non-damage works on him (the legionnaire can insta-kill weak accursed with his ultimate even if the accursed is glowing).

Thunderbringer: Never ever be on low hitpoints if you know that there's lvl6+ thunderbringer on the enemy team. If somebody spots that you are weak, they will request the thunderape to zap you dead no matter where you are on the map. Also it is generally good to have at least little extra magical armor (Magical Vestments) when fighting against a team with thunderbringer. In practice this tip is not so easy to follow (retreating from battle after taking serious beating), but it's good to remember that you should heal yourself early on, the amount of damage can be surprisingly high, since usually people let thunderbringer solo for high levels.

moon queen - disable her, silence her, focus her.

bloodhunter - he has no natural disable. tp away if he doesn't have his team with him.

accursed - don't focus him with his passive activated.

thunderbringer - stay aware, don't put yourself into the position where he can one-hit you with his ultimate. always carry a homecoming stone and perhaps a healing potion.

accursed can be killed by a lego's ult if he's on the required hp(when the accursed has his ult on)

Good post for new players SodanKerjuu :) This is stuff veterans take for granted and will not tell of if new players doesnt ask spesific.

Buying F. ex. Shamans headdress vs a heavy magic nuke team is very often a wise thing to do early/mid game. But buying Shammys Headdress vs a team with only one nuke hero like zeus is too much imo, getting more hp and maybe some regen is more adviced.
