Deadwood was released in 2009's christmas so it can't be it, kraken is even older and gladiator was released after 1.0 afaik

I'm pretty sure, when they say "officially", they mean closed->open beta, I could be wrong though. Which means it wasn't Fayde (If thats who you're thinking about)

Well, gladiator and mk came after the release, so it got to be kraken or dw. And since kraken has been in game whole time, the answer got to be dw... I doubt its the last hero before offical release (1.0.0), but its best alternative out of those. In 2.0.0 HoN went f2p, but it was offically released at that phase...
