Just youtube some editing effects that you can do via sony vegas (apparently best video editor program out there). Its expensive to pay for, but you dont have to if you know what I mean.

Not the best software, but it's good, especially for starting out

Video editing software depends on how much cash you have. Fraps for recording, Audacity for audio (it's free, and awesome), Sony Vegas is good, although the only thing I can credit to it is "when I'm bored" (if you get that lol). Adobe Premiere Elements is good, there are a few others that provide varying levels of usability and functionality, I wrote them down somewhere, can't find. w/e
Tips & Tricks:
Sound balance. If you're only using the audio from the game your pretty much fine, if you're going to use music or if you're going to voice over anything, sound balance that mofo.
Music:
Never use any of the following music. Ever. : Anything by Linkin Park, anything by Evanescence (especially not "bring me to life"), anything by Sound System 009, anything by Dead Mau5, The hamster dance, cotton eyed joe, anything ft. Pitbull, anything by Skrillex.
(Basically if it's popular, mainstream (#hipsterswag), or if someone who isn't one of your best friends knows about it, don't use it.)
Reccomended music for HoN:
Barbie Girl by Aqua
the end, hope I helped. :D
EDIT: There are programs specifically for making intros, I'm hungry for lunch so I can't help you with that right now. soz :3)

Vegas is extremely easy to use and very intuitive once you get the basics. Not to mention that Sony's marketing team was smart enough to release 4 or 5 variations of the program for all different levels of users. The cheapest is $40 and you can find it in BestBuy. If you want top-end software (which is sound like you don't), then Adobe's video editing packages are disgustingly good, though expensive as hell.
If you want assistance or video editing tips, you can add me. PM me if you're interested and I can give you my Skype info. Though, I should let you know that I am using, primarily, Vegas. If you're really interested in getting into video editing, I suggest you do the same.

Well that latest video of yours is HUGELY over edited in my honest opinion, try to zoom in/out a lot less

I agree, too many zoom ins and zoom outs, it's hard to see what's going on if your max zooming on the abilities as he is casting them.
Those kind of effects you just did there are good for trailers or short videos, but I suggest you not doing it in long videos such as gameplay videos and so on.
And to be honest, you don't really need a good intro, rather go for some ingame effects such as.
Film from different angles.
High quality videos are often nicer to look at and looks newer.
Remove the Ui by clicking f11 or f12, looks nice too.

You didn't mention Drowning Pool - Bodies. Tho people tend to use it in fps montages, still, just don't pick that even if you are trolling.

Not sure if anyone said this but.
Whenever i edit videos and i want to add a better touch to it, i edit all the clips i want to have in adobe after effects..
Then i put them all together into sony vegas and render the final movie from there.
