opa "insert nick", or more commonly used as opa dendi is a catch phrase / meme used in Dota 2 when someone is pulling an exceptional play or has a great game.

"Opa!" is just a cheer/yell when you want to express surprise in a positive way that many eastern europeans use. Not sure where Synderen got it from.
Wasn't even a big play.

Wonder if this means on the HoNcast top 10 teams fnatic will get a realistic ranking instead of sticking them lower cause they play Dota2 as well. Should have been No.1 ,regularly stomp TdM who they like to put no.1

Actually, they did pretty much stomp tdM in that game. It wasn't very hard to tell that many of Eras deaths could've been easily avoided with a Shrunken Head but that he refused to buy one. Era is an exceptional player that carries hard, but sometimes he is too agressive with his item choices that you could argue that it's just stupid. In Dota 2 he has been laughed at several times for going very stupid item builds. I have nothing against strong individual players doing what they believe in, in fact I love that. But in this case it was simply stupid to not get a Shrunken Head. He didn't need to buy it as one of his first items, but when he died 2 or 3 times ONLY because of getting chain-stunned from 100-0 it wasn't just the safe choice, it was also the smart choice to avoid throwing the game.
If Era had bought it at the point where he got his Symbol of Rage it would've been pretty much impossible for tdM to win unless Fntc decided to throw, if he would've gotten it earlier as a safe item choice it would've been a stomp and he wouldn't have had to die.

Well, I remember he said "bkb is for pussies" plenty of times on the stream while playing MM matches (that was a few months ago). I guess in tourney games he feels the same way regarding bkb usage..
Thumbs up for Era being the manliest pro player in HoN. Play more SS please, love that hero! <3

His point is that Fly and others were copying successful Dota strats and porting them over to HoN, before pretty much any comp player was into Dota 2. It is possible to follow the Dota 2 scene without playing the game, you know.

Busca with 670 GPM SS by 20 min mark, yep standard glacius/SS lane.

SF + CM sidelanes existed in competitive Dota1 before HoN even came out. It's pretty much impossible to come up with original combinations of Dota ports that Dota has not already tried out because Dota has had such a long time to develop strategies compared to HoN.

Fnatic was #1 on the HoN scene long before DotA2 beta was even released. So I suggest that all DotA2 'pubbies' should stop posting on HoN forums. Thank you.

They're playing right now.
at the midgame that was no game anymore. NaVi just slaughtered in teamfights, it's not even funny. Their coordination in teamfights is so good. I hope that changes for fnatic soon. Guess it's a huge difference, in Dota2 they need coordination in teamfights and stuff like that - in HoN they don't.
Game 2 coming
I was super impressed when Dendi hooked the tping morphling and they instantly scattered. If it was any of the current HoN teams one of the team members would have blocked it, and the next 20 minutes would have been spent arguing about who's fault it was that the hook got blocked.

Game 2 coming
Well... I partially agree. Ofc, Na'Vi has a lot of experience and knows best how to move through team fights. But the draft was also a strong link and allowed them to have quite a deceiving team fight presence. So much mobility and innate tankiness. Fntc didn't have enough damage to stop that strong mid game presence from pudge and NS. They lacked mobility and, as LD pointed out, their support heroes were just the wrong ones against such a line up. TH was squishy and gush was of limited use. E damage debuff was just useless, etc... No mech, no pipe for him. CM was free food as well although Nova did pull off some crazy ults. I didn't see them pulling it through anyway. Fntc did resist pretty nicely early game but they clearly were in for a very rough game on paper.
Now, i like the draft of the second game a little better. Maybe we'll see an abyssal blade night stalker. It proved deadly against SS (Virtus.pro against Mouz). Oh well. i hope Fntc will get a game. Would be nice for them to come out of this with at least a win.

why they are not playing others tournaments? i mean, "easier" and "balance games for them (dont get me wrong)?

Why would someone be proud of just playing against a top team?
ZoNeX

Well they took the place of the old Fnatic Dota 2 squad. So they were still placed in some important leagues/tournaments. They pretty much started by playing against top teams which is the best practice you can get even though you probably lose a lot.

cuz even when they are not playing with team of their rank and they are not even playing dota that much, they manage to play decent games.

indeed, TiG have more chances than fray (IMO), at least fntc won fray, but they cant find the way to even have a close match to TiG :)
