I spent a while trying to figure it out. All of my accounts defaulted as Chronos, while almost every competitive player I searched defaulted as Armadon.

I'm 100% sure I don't play Chronos most of the time just as I am 100% sure they don't play Armadon most of the time.

Funny thing is Iurka is rated 13xx and a 1.1 kdr.

Unless you have a group of 4 friends who are around your skill level and at least willing to play semi-seriously, it's hard to get a good feel for where you sit on the scale. I just came from a game against 5 of them, and it went from a pretty good start to a burning pile of crap rather quickly (no wards certainly didn't help). As far as your second sentence is concerned, you'll just need to wait for solo 5v5 matchmaking to start up.
