Why was my report unsuccessful

ticket #853006 was unsuccessful. I reported a player afk, he even told everyone he was going afk if we didint cc. Then since we were losing, 2 other players decided to dc because of him. I dont get it, all the proof was there that he went afk and I get warned if I have 2 unsuccessful reports in 3 months I get in trouble.

You can't report someone for going afk. Why should you be suspended if you have a doorbell?

Hmm I thought it was not legit to avoid afk detection and still not participating in the game. btw if u read my post he said he was notr going to play if we didnt cc, i didnt say he got up for the doorbell

Afk avoiding is not the same as being afk. If you avoid afk, you aren't afk. That's why it is reportable.

there are a few s2 staff that will respond to this but most likely it will be a Super gm

If the player says he is going to go afk and he does that is not against the rules
if the player goes afk then moves himself 3 minutes later then goes afk again that is against the rules

What is AFK Abuse?

The AFK detection system is designed to allow players the opportunity to remove allies who have stopped participating, reclaiming gold and items to better help them continue the match. AFK Abuse is the act of no longer participating in the match while simultaneously bypassing AFK detection.



Examples of AFK Abuse

Periodically moving around in or behind fountain to avoid AFK detection
Periodically leaving the base without intention to participate or help the team
Intentionally damaging self or activating spells/items/abilities to avoid AFK detection
Moving around/through trees on the edges of the map
Farming continuously without intending to help the team (particularly when base towers/barracks are being pushed)
Going AFK with the intention/knowledge of having a friend who refuses to vote kick you



Examples of what is NOT considered AFK Abuse

Successfully getting kicked by an AFK vote
Being flagged as AFK but never kicked (unless your friend voted it down, see above)
Farming continuously with the intentions of helping to win the match
Legitimately going AFK but damaged by a global ability such that the timer is reset
Legitimately going AFK but match ends before getting flagged
Legitimately going AFK but an ally moves your hero with an ability/item

I had the same. I got an infraction point too. S2 doesn´t ban the and punishes the players which report them. I also reported someone for calling himself Adolf Hitler. Just 1 letter was added to the game. Another player walked around the forest with lvl 1 cause he was mad. Min 14 he was still Lvl 1. He was insulting all the game in teamchat. So he was NOT afk but not playing. No ban at all. The community in hon is worst I have ever seen. I ´m sure there are a LOT of reports. But players like these have to be punished. Now im hoping for DOTA2. Can´t stand the hate combined with the feeling that these players can act like they won´t without punishment.

I reported a player whos name whas "dirty whore" but in swedish (smutsigslyna) which i explained in the report. BUT i get a mail which i am told that my report didnt have enough information to rule the player guilty therefore my coins will not be refunded.

Think its pretty funny. I help them having a nice community without retarded name on accounts but i get punished for doing that haha.

What should i do, post a image of google translate in my report showing what "smutsigslyna" means? xd

Ya kinda sux, I really do like this game ive never played any other games like this LoL Dota but I may to see if the griefing is as bad as playing this. I mean every single game is wondering if my teammate is going to start some kind of BS. Then I report them and Im seen as the bad guy.

Going AFK is not against the rules. If you feel this player avoided detection (preventing AFK vote-kick) please appeal by sending an SGM a private message. This forum is not meant to process appeals.
