Currently running the thread dedicated to making and giving people custom account icons in GD, and after recently helping somone by making them a desktop background for their computer, ive decided to branch out and help the community with this also.

So if you would like a desktop/iphone background made up just post below what you want, and if a specific character (hoN or any other game) is to be included let me know.

Also, if you want a specific picture of a character/characters in the image but with a custom background and/or effects ontop link me the original image/s

NOTE: These will take longer than the CAI's for obvious reasons, and i will get to them as soon as possible when i have free time
NOTE2: if you want a desktop background, provide your desktop resolution

You can easily edit the flames, i have them on seperate layers allowing you to change their hue individually, also they are masked, rather than having areas erased, allowing you to re-edit the flames at will.

Combination, some parts are previous artworks ive done (i keep all my artworks saved into categorical folders for quick access) OR i find artworks done by other people, and apply my own backgrounds/effects i make via photoshop, as these backgrounds are for personal use and i am making no money off this community service, there are no copyright issues, however if you'd like to know which artist's work is in a certain image ill gladly provide them with their rightful credit

The ones i make from scratch will take longer for obvious reasons.

Nice job! If possible could you smooth-en out the edges to a more fine point, the jagged edges are pretty noticeable. Also make the background color red and remove the text, I prefer it to be more ambiguous :P

EDIT: Also I noticed the hand holding the ipod looks awkward because the thumb pointing inward is indicating that hes showing the back of his hand instead of the front. The thumb should be pointing upwards, if its going to just get lost into the shilouette then have it cover part of the Ipod at an angle.

Understandable, but the reason i haven't is that becomes time consuming, and the point of this thread is to pump out quick, yet awesome backgrounds/graphics for the community for free, i can post credits to any artists works i incorporate in any future works i make for people if you'd like but asking for permissions for non-commercial work would end up becoming a buzzkill as i would be over-run by requests, unable to come close to keeping up with them.

Also, i said if anyone would like to know where the artwork came from any of their works i was happy to link them, some of these works feature your work im pretty sure, do you give me permission to use your work for these backgrounds in the future? if not, i wont use any more, and i will remove previous posts using them, thats fair enough; your work, your choice.

Question Sye; i have a solution, i create a background/facebook banner (yep moving into that field) thread in GD, then start a thread in fan media (linked in request thread) where i will post the works, and people can discuss them thewre, this way fan media gets more traffic, the people who dont know about it get their backgrounds and the thread is generally much cleaner.

I never got the original .psd, only a jpg and made thode editions (flames) via photoshopping, however i cannot give you a psd without the text or the hon logo as they were embedded in the .jpg i recieved before editing. It would take me a fair bit of editing to remove the text and logo, time which i do not have at the moment. Sorry

Hi Token. These arts are amazing and I've been looking all over for a nice blacksmith fan art. I plan on downloading and submitting it into a custom playmat order for a TCG that I occasionally play. Ive found a few cool fan arts around but they need to fit the specs of 1784x1024 which has been hard to find. Yeah its kingaby's hes a great speedpainter, i just cropped it to the right dimensions and made fayde actually purple, like ive stated countless times in this thread, alot of the artwork is provided by S2 or other great artists, i just edit them into pictures/scenes and paint in my own effects or backgrounds to suit the persons request.

I made your gypsy fayde and aluna bg didnt i? why are you complaining.

Could you make like Nomad and his 2 other alts( Nomaddin and Shaka Nomad) like in a desert all using sandstorm.

Hey again token :D So the BGs you've made for me before 3-4 months(or 5? I don't remember quite well) kinda got boring for me too look at them :P Oh or it is that I got some new pics that now I like more than olds. Don't worry I won't want something complicated this time. They are not HoN related but can you please make them on my dekstop resolution because they are kinda big. My desktop res is 1024x768 since I doubt you remember it after all those months :D.

So just make them at my desk res is all I want :) Oh about the 3rd one...pls remove the inscription on top right corner and also if you can please make two versions of it: 1-normal with my desk res, without the inscrition on the top right corner and the normal "Allen Walker" ; 2-the same as 1st but the name "Allen Walker" to stand out because it's kinda merges with the background(maybe outlines with silver color but w/e..make it with whatever colour you feel it will look good in this background). I hope you get what I mean and I hope that it won't take much of your time :) Thanks for your time in advance.
