View Full Version : How to use Pebbels Chuck?
I'm having trouble figuring out how to chuck someone from a nearby to me point A to a point B across the screen.
I tried experimenting in a single-game. Standing near a unit and clicking on them threw them up and impaled on a stalagmite (I even managed to kill someone that way. Ouch ), while clicking on myself throws them on me.
But how to throw someone nearby far away? I only managed to do this once by accident and can't repeat this again.

The throw works like this.
When using the ability the spell is asking for a target not a person/creep to throw.
So you need 2 things to make it work, 1 you need to be in range of the target and 2 you need a creep/hero near you (closest gets thrown) to throw.
So essentially, run in close to a mob/hero (hopefully the hero your trying to kill) stun and then Throw if you pull it off right you can throw the hero to you (he wont move, just go up and down) giving him both the throw damage and the landing damage.

It's worth mentioning that you can get very creative with this if you're chasing someone. For example, chucking a melee hero on top of one of their Int heroes will do some damage to the person you're throwing, but probably a lot less than the imminent doom that's about to befall that caster.
Not to mention that it's completely hilarious.

Note that throw is bugged ATM, thrown heroes do not receive both throw and landing damage. I'm not sure which of the two it's lacking, but it doesn't do near the damage it does in DotA.

The way it works in Dota is that if you throw someone into an avalanche when he is already in it, he takes avalanche damage twice. That isn't the case in HoN, and the lack of avalanche damage being doubled makes him much weaker.
Thanks a bunch, I got it working.

i wasnt aware of the avalance double dmg but that would explain why i would take obsurb dmg

Huh, you can do that? News to me.
I've been having trouble with Chuck as well, it's not QUITE as straightforward as DotA's. Need to fiddle with it some more.

Yea in dota if you run up to someone and avalanche throw quick enough the avalanche hits them twice
