With the Frostfields contest finished, I think it's safe to begin discussions pertaining to the Frostfields.

With the several articles and lore we've brought out we were able to give a good idea of what the Frostfields are like, and with Ellonia's addition to the cast I suppose it's only quite right to speculate that the Frostfields are ruled by the strongest entity (or in this case, mage) of the area which is currently Ellonia.

It can also be assumed that the (indirect) rule of the Frostfields is always contested in terms of the ruling body's power.

An example situation being: Glacius may once have been the dictatorial ruler of the Frostfields prior to his statis, however was beaten by Ellonia who then had taken the 'throne'.

This actually gives rise to a thought of a map/mode for the Frostfields that could emphasize the "Free-For-All" setting of the Frostfields Throne.

There are also quite a lot of other points of interest such as Blackwal and the Academy, as well as Ice (one of Gemini)'s origin.

I rather like that idea. Glacius betrayed by Ellonia left frozen in a block of ice so she could control the academy. Glacius escaping his prison emerging from the frostfields and being mistaken for the hero of legend. Now he seeks revenge against Ellonia and has been branded as hellbourne when he only wants to save his people from an evil ruler. (fits well with the side swapping too)

I was hoping blackal would be explored a bit more I rather like the area.

so Ellonia is the evil backstabbing ***ch? nice

though I was under the impression that Glacius was imprisoned more than 100 years......

"
The legends of Frostfield speak of a mighty warrior in a frozen prison who would break free when Newerth needed him most. " He doesn't sound like a king, but a legend
