Not really sure if this is the right section, so my apologies if it's not.

But I was thinking if S2 could implement a sort of one game trial for EA heroes? As a living example, I've been contemplating buying Ellonia for awhile now because I absolutely love her EA alt, but judging by her skills and watching others play her, I'm not sure how good I would be with her. And I don't want to spend 350 gold coins, just in case her play style doesn't suit me.
That being said however, I dread that once she is released to the public, that I do love her play style, and I'd facepalm repeatedly that I didn't buy her EA alt, which as far as I know will never been made available for purchase again.

So I would like to suggest that S2 implement a trial for EA heroes. For a small about of gold coins, maybe 20ish, you can play the hero once in a game, to test the hero out and see if you like it, or if it suits you. That way if you dont like it, you wouldn't have wasted 350 coins on a hero alt you'll never use. And if you did like the hero and end up purshasing, the 20 coins could come out of the 350 coins it costs.

Any thoughts?

There is a very big difference in checking a hero out in practice mode, and playing that hero in a real game. That idea has gotten me in serious trouble before, thinking I'd discovered something (Item build, hero, etc) awesome in practice, only to find out that in a real game, you get flamed into the ground. "OMG UR X HERO, U DNT NEED 2 GET THAT ITME U FKN NUB MADBAD STUPID SFUJNBGBIYGEDIINASD"

Also, you need to play a hero more than once in REAL games before you can really decide whether or not you like it. Playing your trial EA hero and doing badly might make you think less of a hero you might otherwise enjoy or visa versa.

Blitz comes to mind when thinking about Practice Mode lying to me. The same way Vodka does when the 6'5, 420lb muscle bound monstrosity looks like a pushover at the bar!

EA Heroes should be available to use for free in Public Nostats games. But only for the first week after its put on EA, and back to current for the remaining 3 weeks before its released.
