Received infraction point for reporting obvious abuse. Broken system?

Unable to kick, obviously.

So I report this jerkoff, and this is what I get in response via email:
This is an automatic update on your Heroes of Newerth Report-A-Player ticket in which you reported player 'A--------' for actions in match ---------.

A GM has ruled your report to be insufficient or of poor quality and you have received 1 infraction point for the Report-A-Player system; this can be caused by not giving the appropriate details or not providing us a valid timeframe in which offense occurred.



I rarely, if ever, report anyone. And the one person I do report gets 'me' in trouble?

I did the exact same reporting an obvious abuser for taking other peoples gear, purposfully killing the courier, using excessive profanity and bullying in game, and in general tro9lling from the start and I got the same email back.

I keep giving hon more chances to get it right and kick these pricks but they keep getting it wrong. I guess im switching to DOTA and hoping for more prefessionalism

So I took a look at your game, and the reason you lost your 25 silver is because the player you reported was legitimately AFK (albeit moving every 5 mins or so but that won't unflag you). However, since the opposing team had a Thunderbringer, his ulti unflagged him every time he cast it. That's why you couldn't kick him.

Personally I think AFK should be based on an APM system, but with how the system works now it's a bit of a flaw.

Also, I'm just gonna put this out there; when he went AFK to begin with, it's not like he hated you guys. He kinda just ran back to base without a word. There doesn't look like there's any intent.

Err, have you actually played this game before? Maybe it's because he was orange. Maybe it's because he didn't like the way the game was going. Maybe he was a plant for the other team. Maybe he's just a jerkoff. Or maybe it's all of the above.

When it comes down to it, he 'could' have just left. Instead. He chose not to and gave the opposing team the game.

This is harassment. It doesn't matter what his personal reasons for doing what he did was.
What matters is that it happened.
What matters more is that I used the RAP system and I got penalized for no reason.
What matters most is that the RAP system is potentially broken, or there are corrupt/lazy GMs that aren't actually taking the time to review the match videos.

This is the RAP Feedback forum.
I could care less about the 25 silver deposit or even the "infraction point", there are simple solutions to both of those things (ie. don't use the system.)
