View Full Version : [Effects] Arachna's webbed shot disappears when passing over the river in Mid Wars

It's only the webbed shot (the normal attack is ok), and only when it passes through the river in Mid Wars. You can see only it's shadow, while the white web disappears and reappears when it reaches the other side. I haven't noticed this with other heroes' ranged attacks.

Linux, OpenGL renderer (obviously). Model/Texture - High, Water - low, Shadows disabled. All checkbox graphic settings (refraction, post processing etc) - disabled.

Yeah, so it must be something with my rendering.. Kinesis's floating diamonds and other heroes' effects also disappear on the river in MidWars -_- Thanks!

I've just figured out that it happens when the water is set to "Very High". On "high" or less, everything appears correctly.

Well, If you read my post with screenshots of the issue - screen shots were done with "low" water quality
edit: you are right, if set to "Very High" its completely invisible (while on my screenshot its just shaded out)

same goes for groundsprite indicators (like auras): http://imgur.com/a/ZzSW5 (arachna's aura effect is not seen when in water)

As the title state.
greed's attacks (be it auto-attack or Q...) do not appear over water. It is like the water is being drawn over his effects.
This could be ogl only

Saw greed today, his attacks were visible over water as they should. I assume we are talking about projectile not its reflection. dx9 renderer

Projectiles not being visible over water is something that from my experience usually happens exclusively to OpenGL.
