Not taking any skills but ultimate

This guy in a public game i was in +1600 AP randomed arachna and then refused to get any skills xcept for his ultimate. No stats no webshot no aura no carapace just ultimate which he only got after I convinced him. TBH im sick of playing with retards like this, we actually ended upwinning due to me going 18-2-22 o something like that but that not the point. Stuff like this should be banned and its pure greifing.

Also he claimed he was an Aussie GM on another account and actually said there was only 5 other gms in aus and rattled off some names off by heart so I kinda believe him. If so please rethink who you allow to be a gm.

Him and his friend were clearly stoned during the game.


It makes no sense to me that I get banned for selling boots while mega raxed to afford a panda flying courier to try it out as I literally just purchased the courier avatar an hour before. Also didnt even feed the courier.

Being a PSR game is no excuse for blatent trolling like this.

No stats games with the title COME HERE TO PLAY TROLL BUILDS HURR WE SO STONED should be the only games this crap is tolerated

Well, while there are not explicitly any rules against making bad skills/item choices, he can be reported for saying he's a GM without actually being on his GM account. Saying he 'knows' people of power is impersonating S2 staff and can result in a ban. If he is actually a GM, then he will get a talking to by the Senior GMs.

So you cant get banned for not leveling up any kills. This is clear greifing

Well, how I'm talking is based entirely on the written rules. According to the rules you can rush a doombringer as your first item as long as you don't intentionally die with it. I don't know if maybe GMs doing the judging can override what's written as far as questionable cases like those (especially when the user in question has many games played and thus can be assumed that they are aware that not skilling your abilities severely impairs your hero and thus your team), but I'm not a GM so I can't say that they can.

In game there is a skill/item abuse button and when I read it it sounded like what I reported for was definetly banable. I cant reproduce it though as I cant get into the client atm as im at work though :(

If the intent is to purposefully irritate/harass your own team then nearly anything can be considered griefing. GMs will review such cases and make as an objective opinion as possible on a case by case basis.

Not skilling anything (even skipping stats) when you know how the game works can be considered griefing.
Rushing doom before anything else when you know you will certainly lose it can be considered griefing.

When it comes to borderline behavior, it will generally be marked innocent if your team goes on to win regardless. This is because an appeal can be made very easily: "I was just having fun. My team was doing so well that it really didn't matter what I did. We ended up winning so therefore I didn't ruin the game at all." etc etc. Egregious cases of griefing will obviously be marked guilty regardless of the outcome of the match.

I am more concerned with the impersonating staff comments. We take this very seriously. If it turns out that it really was a GM on an alternate account, "being talked to by a Senior GM" is the least of his problems. =)

well there is no proof as i said it was over voip which is why i didnt make an issue about it.

Also not skilling any skills IS greifing the team whether they win or not. Its putting the team at a disadvantage and if they say they were just having fun then kindly tell them about NO STATS games.

riddle me this. If its 30 minsa nd not one person has purchased a ward all game and all refuse to buy wards can you go buy wards and spam them in base because they were not going to help the team anyways. I have fun by spamming wards, and the team isnt going to use them anyway.

Also sidenote thanks to the gms for never emailing me back and banning my other account for INTENT FEEDING, all they had to do was watch the replay see I had timed out and some random player on the team was doing it, and it stopped as soon as i reconnected. Doing a really good job, Just because its Volunteer doesn't mean you get to use that as an excuse and half ass your job.
