Hey, been playing since closed beta, but I did mostly EM and casual mode until I returned a few weeks ago. Now I'm strictly doing normal mode banning pick/banning draft.
Unfortunately, I'm strictly a support player. I don't like to do solo/lane mids and I'm uncomfortable carrying the team. My favorite heroes are Monarch, Glacius, Blacksmith, and Accursed. I volunteer to upgrade the courier and grab wards the whole game because I think of them as legal maphacks, and maphacks are op.
My MMR has been steadily dropping since I started playing again, and I think it's more due to the failure of my random teammates than it is of my own play. I surely have mountains of improvement to make, but it's not going to happen when I'm running around with 8 kills and 1 death as Monarch (doesn't always happen, but the fact that it happens at all makes me think I'm playing below my ability).
I'm looking for a team that is fairly casual, easy going, but still uses voice chat* over typing, and is capable [obviously] of working together.
* Whether that's in-game voice chat or a 3rd party application doesn't make a difference to me. I currently can use in-game voice chat, and also have mumble, ventrilo, and teamspeak installed.
