I think I saw that I can not post match id's, so I will not do so. If it is needed, feel free to pm me.
Recently I reported a few players and I recieved an infraction point 2 times.
I am the player that is always friendly, I never rage and treat my team (and enemy) with respect. Even though they do not always in return.
When I report, I do that for a reason, a legit reason. Not because someone is using bad words, playing bad or something similar. When I report, it's because he is definitly breaking the rules and spoiling the gameplay.
Now I would like to review one of my unsuccessful tickets.
I don't know all the details, the match was a long time back, it never got reviewed until now.
Even though there is more information I could give, I will only state the facts. To strenghten my opinion that I should not recieve this infraction point.
On 27.27 playtime one of our members is marked afk.
On 27.42 we vote-kick the afk marked member. Everyone passes except the reported player.
On 29.50 we try again. Everyone passes except the reported player.
On 30.20 the reported player clarifies: "***** he's my mate guys"
The afk marked player continues to be afk.
On 31.52 we try again. The reported player does not pass.
On 34.47 I tell him I will report him, because it is reportable. He did not know that.
On 35.12 we try again. The reported player does not pass. Even though he now knows it is against the rules.
I think I already know what the problem is, I had to report the afk player instead of the one that did not pass the kick vote on his friend.
However, I clarified this in my ticket. Is it not possible to take the right measures, even though the evidence is there? Do I get an infraction point for not knowing whether to report the afk player or the one that does not pass the vote? In my opinion he is the offender.
To end this, I would like to point out the AFK abuse rule. Clearly this rule is broken.
Examples of AFK Abuse
Periodically moving around in or behind fountain to avoid AFK detection
Periodically leaving the base without intention to participate or help the team
Intentionally damaging self or activating spells/items/abilities to avoid AFK detection
Moving around/through trees on the edges of the map
Farming continuously without intending to help the team (particularly when base towers/barracks are being pushed)
Going AFK with the intention/knowledge of having a friend who refuses to vote kick you
Please look into this, or give the the right reason of giving my an infraction point. I try hard on my reports to make HoN a better place, even though it seems impossible from time to time.
