View Full Version : [Game Play] Item's full refund time only 1 second

So I'm making the Staff of Master, and I already had the Glowstone item. I wanted the next component, so I right clicked the SoM icon which buys me the next item on the list: the Mighty Blade. Well, I needed more INT, not STR, so I sold it right away but noticed I only got 50% gold back and I didn't have enough to buy the Neophyte Book. I saved the replay to watch it and sure enough, the refund icon was there for only 1 second, from replay time 19:23 to 19:24.
Also, another bug: I got 3 smackdowns in the order of teal, purple, and blue. I used my 4th taunt on blue again at replay time 28:20 and killed him. But no taunt showed up and I didn't get any smackdown. :( The after-game stats showed I only had +3 smackdowns... it should be +4. Anyway to add +1 smackdown for my account?

The first bug is confirmed, don't know why it happened though. It shouldn't happen and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
The taunt bug is invalid - at 1/8x speed, your allied creep landed the last hit (although you still got the credit because no other player assisted you)

my friend and i were playing a game (89038494) and at one point, he accidentally bought a second mighty blade and sold it back instantly....only to receive 500 coins instead of the full 1000. replay timer 32:46-:48. he was on warbeast (pink)
i know that this was confirmed as a bug already but the response to it was "i'm not sure why that happened" so i thought i'd post another instance of it happening in case it helped.
also, he was using the old shop (not that it should matter). i know you guys "dont support the old shop" but that shouldn't change the buying/selling mechanism.

i guess if there isn't a clear reason as to why the item sold back for half, you could merge this with the original topic? idk

I had this happen in a game just now. The sell back icon disappeared 1 second after buying the item when watching the replay.

The above link never seemed to come to a conclusion as to what caused it, though I found it too... I hoped this one would prove tough to replicate, turns out it was quite simple; it's losing voodoo wards (polly's ultimate).
As it turns out, when you lose a unit under your command, you will lose the refund, just as if you yourself died. I assume this is not intended.
