Lizard Champion

This would be a tanky kind of initiator that can disrupt opponents with Storm Slammer, temporarily take out opponents with Lightning Striker and with ease evade opponents with his advanced speed and the beacon survivability skill.
His main strength and strive for is great health as his Genesis regens for him other than that, regular combative items.


STR +2.9
AGI +1.9
INT +1.6

Storm Slammer will work almost like Ra's Meteor/sort of a skillshot where he instantly takes an inhuman step/leap on an area forth which would aoe silence because everybody got so impressed/froze in panic of his leap.<3
The animation would be (SC1) that he's calmly loading and gathers his storm power for a large jump with heavy impact.
Allied units in the area will be granted +4/8/12/16 cast speed.
Cast time: Instant
Silence: 1/1.3/1.7/2.1 seconds
Range: 550
Radius; of effect 280
Magical Damage: 85/130/170/210
Cooldown: 17 seconds
Mana Cost: 70/80/90/100

Lightning Striker

The second skill would defenetily be the Lightning (on self) Lizard roll (Soul Calibur 1-3) This would work kind of like Chulolofant's charge, but like in Soul Calibur, he's first struck by a lightning and then rolls, so that would sweet if it could be implemented so that it is a cast time / a slight delay.
The delay wouldn't be too long just enough to not make it instant. About 0.7-1 second cast time.
The roll would be very swift to the final area/when he has hit and roll over, trough all the three opponents.
The Direction is just ahead of where he is looking, so therefore one must be quite accurate or combo with a partner.
This charge will stun up to three opponents for 1.0/1.3/1.7/2.1 seconds.
Cast time: 0.70 seconds (Almost instant. I'd like the possibility to abort this ability if one wishes to)
Range: 700 (To final destination)
Physical Damage: 130/160/190/230
Cooldown: 22/20/18/16 seconds
Mana Cost: 110

Genesis

The third skill grants him permanent life regenation + X.0% HP/sec (Definitely the hardest skill to determine, I can't tell the amount. However this is one of his core abilities to be able to revitalize)

Speed Stripes

The ultimate would be that he has a passive +4/+8+12% movement speed increase also he can plant his beacon (max 1 at a time per place) on the ground so that he can recall himself to the designated area. Cannot place inside the base.
The design for this beacon would be a small pond. The effect while recalling would make him completely white and then he vanishes.
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40 this is for both plant the beacon plus the recall
Mana Cost: 50/60/70 (This mana cost is for both planting and recalling to the beacon)

Hi man, I don't think i fully understood how Lightning Striker works, but would it push the units while hes rolling? like kraken's skill? I think that would be cool.
The damage at lvl 1 is insane and even more insane at the start because of it being phyisical damage. Do you think that having a skill shot mechanic can justify that?

There is still a lot of information missing, for example it would be good to know the manacost and cooldowns of all your abilities. As for Speed Stripes, which certainly needs more detail, I don't see him as a proper ability for your idea of a tanky initiator. On the other hand, the speed boost is useful but i don't like the idea of an active skill that gives you passive bonuses. It's like two skills on one. what do you think about that?

How did you come with the idea of grating a casting speed bonus with your Storm Slammer? also, can you disjoint with it? that would be interesting.

I would like Lstriker to be able to be disjointed or aborted (If I understand your word "disjoint" correctly).
It's ok Lstriker is not instant but yes it is supposed to be his main damage skill. Keep in mind this wouldn't be exactly instant cast.
It works like chulolofants charge, he just rolls trough the enemies till the 700 range.
Yeah I figured it's sort of a skillshot (you must look that way) plus it's a small cast time, therefore the damage is sick.
If you want to be sure to land the Lstriker, you might wanna combo up with a teammate's stun first say ex. Hstorm.

I'll try to put up cooldowns asap and also manacosts, I don't want him to be an op spam hero like many other new ones. Instead harder abilities.

Yeh Speed Stripes have a passive bonus speed plus the beacon plant (such as EW plant thingy) then on activation it recalls him to that place.

Sslammer - Well I figured Cast speed is kind of rare in HoN and I love the idea so I figured why not.
It's suppose to be an inspirational leap for allied units also therefore they get more focused on what they are doing.

Feel free to point out more unclarity everyone.

I'm sure hero designers can make it look real flashy.

Although it is a rather short jump here I want it to be alot longer. (might look funny in hon lol)
In fact, I think there's a longer version of that jump in SC as well but you get the idea.

I like this and with cspd but is s2 allowed to "copy" Lizardman do you think?
Maybe it can be reworked so that is a non-issue.
