Moraxus's great adventure

Moraxus wasn't always the ax wielding terror we know and fear now. Like everyone he had to start somewhere low on the totem pole. When he first learned his trade as a warrior he didn't even throw axes, he threw scraps of metal he scrounged up after other battles had been fought. He got his lucky break after discovering a treasure map leading to a set of magical throwing axes. Supposedly their resting place wasn't far from the village where he lived. At least that's what the peddler who sold him the worn scrap of paper told him, before relieving him of some hard earned goblin coins.

He left his village early one morning, full pack on his back with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Moraxus was ready for weapons worthy of his fighting style. Off he trudged through dangerous forests, fighting monsters with thrown bent swords and rusty shields, until he came upon a cave. With the sun well past it's apex that day, he decided this was the right place. According to the map, this cave was the tomb of some long lost hero who was famous for slaying something or other. All that didn't matter anymore, it was his turn for glory and riches, the magical axes had to be his.

He stuck a torch an ventured it the depth of this cave, this tomb where he would find his prize. The cave was dark and damp , it must have been centuries since it had last seen a visitor. With creepy crawlies slithering out of the light of his torch, he went deeper and deeper into the cave. After what seemed like hours of wandering through worked twisting and turning paths, after all the wrong turns, and arduous back tracking he was there. With out warning his world went black, he thought his torch went out but then he felt the pain in his head and then nothing.

He was rudely awoken by a bucket of water, the eyes of a panda in front of him. “You came for my prize didn't you” said the panda. To his horror, a bandolier of glowing axes was over the panda's shoulder.
