"Replay server not uploading replays correctly"

I reported A player using Succubus's Mesmerize on friendly players for no reason after repeatedly asking the person not to. I got this reply back:

"Between the hours of 7:30 PM EDT on 4/16/2012 and 2:00PM EDT on 4/17/2012 we experienced an issue with our replay server not uploading correctly. Because of this issue we were not able to correctly judge your Report-A-Player ticket, and will be refunding you your deposit now.

We apologize for this inconvenience and are working to ensure this does not happen again"

I have a few point about this... The first point is that i successfully downloaded the replay myself. So why can i download the video and a company who charges for this game cannot? The Second point is that the time of my game is at 6:32 PM EDT lasting for nearly 36 minutes. this has the game finishing about 7:08 PM EDT at the latest which is before the 7:30PM EDT time which the replay servers went down. To be honest i feel like i have been lied to because a company cannot be bothered to check something which they themselves said they would in the "report a player system".

Maybe you can PM an SGM since you have the replay. I highly doubt replays can be manipulated to have forged evidence (you can always try, but more likely than not it'll bug the replay unless you secretly worked with manipulating replay data for like, a long long time)

Hello kaioken,

The vast majority of tickets are submitted within a few hours of the match occurring. We only recently enabled that email to notify the 99.9% of reporters where replays will not exist. So even though your replay exists (from over two days ago), the system sees a brand new ticket and assumes it was a recent match.

Please send me a forum PM so I can remember to follow up on this case when I get the time. In the meanwhile I am closing this thread. There is really nothing more to discuss; you were simply in a really odd case where your replay was one of the last ones to go thru yet you decided not to file a report until much later (this is perfectly acceptable by the way... simply bad luck on your end).
