Source - http://img687.imageshack.us/i/lelouchoftherebellionsc.jpg/
Text - Nedrapter and this quote "If the King does not move, then his soldiers will not follow." *
Colours - I like the following: silver, black, blue and i don't like much bright colours that include red, such as orange, bright red etc.
Style - I would like dark font, and if possible the character in the picture to have a light casted upon him **
Size - whatever size is used usually for a signature, and if it's not much work, the same in 1650x1080 to use it as wallpaper also :)
Preferred artist - I don't have any, one with free time, i guess.

*These 2 don't have to be in the same spot of the signature as they are irrelevant.
** Here is an example of the light i'm saying: http://img692.imageshack.us/i/animepaperwallpaperscod.jpg/. I didn't provide this picture to the "Source" because the characters is faded.

If I'm asking too much, just ignore, I don't know how hard or time consuming this is.

Does anyone think they could do a Chronos Sig for me? That would be awesome!

I would recommend next time you either find a picture with a stock background, or a "render", an image with a transparent background. For GFX'ers like myself, we more often that not reject something not in this category, as it is time consuming to render it ourselves and give it a transparent background.

If you look around there are many MANY renders of Lelouch, as he is a from a very well known and liked anime. A white background gives nothing for people to work with as it's very hard to get rid of, but doesn't have the colours and textures needed to make it awesome and sexy.

ShadowExile (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/member.php?u=376498): Don't know where you are coming from. One of the easiest extractions are from uniform coloured backgrounds (white included), although it is extra work and I, you (or others) might be less inclined to go through such hassle. :p

Nedrapter (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/member.php?u=95435): Moreover, I'd say you get a faster and better response to your request if the render you want is already extracted out from the picture.

I didn't mean extracting, rather, if you didn't feel like making a high-quality extraction (such as instead of using the magic-eraser, which often goes through lines and reduces anti-aliasing quality a lot), a background which is purely white it hard to work with without removing it. However, a background that is a stock and looks good, with the render already in the background, is very easy to work with, as you let the background of the stock serve as your background and immediately get started on editing it and sexxing it up. But if it's purely white, a lot of C4D's and other nice effects simply do not work well, and there is a lack of background textures and colours, as it is purely white. Not to mention with it all being on the same layer, you have to work a lot harder to add effects to the outside of the render without affecting the actual render itself.

Something with a transparent background is a lot easier because you can deal with everything you need on different layers and (if like me, sometimes you try move layers around to see a better effect), it's still possible to do. When a background layer is purely white, it MUST be the bottom layer for it to have any use, because putting it back on the top makes it the same as the image provided, unless you take the hassle of extracting the render from the pitiful white background.

That is exactly why I propose we make it a requirement of requesters to post a picture that is rendered/has a transparent background. Of course in .png format.

For the cloth request that was put, I had to render it out of the white background as it interfered with my design.

Maybe it shoudn't be a requirement because some pictures *like the cloth he linked to* have not been rendered, and we can't expect non-photo shoppers to know how to render something out, let alone do a good job at it.

I say once they post the stock, if it's something like a game character, anime character and etc, they should have no trouble going to a render site and finding one that's done for them. If it's something like the cloth, then that's just tough luck I guess.

I know, I know. I am aware of everything you mentioned.

I meant what I quoted from the start.

ShadowExile (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/member.php?u=376498) and Mediocrity (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/member.php?u=114041): Anyways, I'm in accordance with both of your opinions completely. Just seeking your understanding that not everyone in the HoN forums understand why is it beneficial to provide a render. So if it does not take up too much of your time, extract it for them instead of flaming them for not providing a "proper" render/stock. (Not saying that you guys flame though.)

That said, I am very appreciative that so many of you guys are willing to help out in GR.

I'll add it to the sticky though. :>

P.S Like ShadowExile mentioned, if a white canvas requires more skill to manipulate as you have to "create" your own background - take the challenge! ;)

You really bombarded the thread with terms i'm not familiar with :)
For start, what that means "a picture with a stock background, or a "render","
. Explain to me and maybe i can find such a thing if that's what Desirable needs.

P.S. shadowexile what character is that in your sig?

render = a image that is cut out of it's background, and that has a transparent background, so when put into photoshop, you don't have this fugly white background that you need to blend in.

A Stock is the image that a render is made out of.

For instance :

If you have a picture of a field of flowers, and you want to cut out a flower from it. This cut out flower is a render, and the original field of flowers is the stock image.

Read the GR R&G (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=39587) again. I updated them to explain what is a render. :)

Anyway, I'm done. Here you go.

Nice selection of a background stock to use :D

Matches it really nicely, good lighting too.

I gave Lelouch a self-portrait to admire himself during his free time as well. :3

Done.

Nedrapter: I know the colour choice might not exactly be what as you stated, but I was inspired to think that those colours would fit your quote better. Picture Lelouch lounging (pun intended) in the late afternoon in his kingly quarters. :3
I toned down the warm colours to several shades darker though.

As for the spotlight, unless I extended the height of the sig, you won't be able to get the sort of drastic effect like in the wallpaper. Also, there are sig height limitations in this forum, hence we need to keep them smaller. :(
Obviously I had to make the lighting warmer as well to accomodate for the different colour scheme, so it might not stand out as much.
