While you are mentoring, pressing enter should default you to mentor chat.

I'm so used to telling people to go post their suggestions to suggestions section instead of GD, I almost said the same thing here.
OT: Great idea, I was thinking of creating a thread about that a couple of weeks ago. Hope this gets implemented

Definitely would like this, I always type things into space in team chat or all chat :P then realize I am not using mentor chat :P
