FIRST!

As topic said. Make the courier automaticly return to base after it's dropped off items at a hero. Also add the "put all items in courier on ground"-button.
(Like it is in DoTA.)

Im sick and tired of having my courier killed coz i press "give items to hero" and get ganked and forget about the courier which is on its way to me and dies later in battle because it doesnt return!

I have now found out it's possible to make this happen by holding shift and pressing your "return to base"-hotkey (default; R) Just after pressing the "deliver to hero"-button (default; D).

However, my new suggestion is to make this function more visible to new players, for example Right-click on Return to base to make it "Autocast" return after having delivered an item to the player.

SECOND..

Make the shop in homebase Hotkey'able with Ctrl-# keys like all the buildings in dota. Sucks to have to mapclick to get to the shop menu/quick-click/ or select something in the base. Also implement a Glyph function in side the main shop.

... Words to not describe your naive'ness. Here's a fix to ALL your problems, which if you had actually LOOKED, you would have found.

1) Press E. This delivers all items TO YOUR INVENTORY. Then hold shift and press R. As long as you don't have the courier selected and move somewhere else, the courier will automatically return to base.

2) Press B. That's all I can tell you. "B" for "Buy Stuff."

1) Thank you for that, wouldn't have figured it out for a while otherwise.

2) I want to be able to hotkey buildings/towers/shops to Numbers(#) so I can double click the number and get to that building/tower, without having to scroll or mapclick.

One easy way to fix the automatic return would be if it was possible to "right click" (Autocast) on the return to base key, so that whenever it has delivered something it automaticly returns to base. That would be an awesome solution to this problem.

Another suggestion would be a "Transfer all items to Hero"-button in the Inventory depot inside the base. Would work the same way as the "Deliver button" on the Courier.

If you were smart enough to queue commands you wouldn't have made this post. The queuing buildings up doesn't seem that big of a deal, just wait till the courier gets there.

Ah, a support member insulting my intelligence. Good job Man. I don't even understand what you mean with "queuing commands", so instead of insulting me it would be nice if you could come up with some constructive advice, or redirect me to somewhere I can read about this. :)

btw, abotu your forum signature, bashing people who complain about "imba" characters. Do you know why dota got successful? Because of IceFrogs hard work, and listening to the USERS/PLAYERS to try and balance the game up. If a hero is Overpowered both early, mid and late game, it should be considered rebalancing. People aren't whining about heroes being imba, they're whining about the game being unbalanced throughout several patches without anyone doing anything about it (read; Puppet Master).

Awesome, that actually worked.
Wouldn't ever have figured it out though if he didn't tell me. So maybe there needs to be some sort of way for that to show to new players of HoN? How would they know you should shift click it?

The Building hotkey remains though. Not being able to quickly jump through towers and base is something that really bugs me.
Also there should be some way to Hotkey the "Depot" and have that "Transfer all "-button as on the courier. It's retarded having to drag items back n forth with recipes and all to make everything fit and then drag it all back to the hero one by one.

Building hotkey remains, not sure if there is some way to do that, but for the other courier problem, the thing that was mentioned before, queuing, is where you hold Shift and perform an action, and therefore, the moment you finish your current action, the queued action(s) will be done in order of being queued. For example, if you were Magmus and used your ulti, you would go (R + [Shift + Alt + Q if that's your position for portal key and then Shift+Click where you want to blink to. The very moment you stop channeling, you blink there for maximum effectiveness.

This can be said of the courier. You can queue what goes where as the courier is on it's way, and the last thing you do is to queue the return. So if you wanted to build a whole lot of different things without putting stuff on ground, use queuing to put items to the courier and to you and back to get all the recipes working without putting things on ground or doing it in real time. It means the courier will arrive, go back, and all your recipes are intact the moment the courier gets there.)

About the buildings... well, for the moment you could probably ask someone to make a mod that selects the world tree by pressing a key such as 'T' for Tree or something, so you can press T + Glyph. It's not hard to do for someone who can find a quick-fix for your problem. I would suggest posting a request in the User Mod and Applications section of the forums (right underneath the Suggestions sub-forum).

Thanks! Didn't think of the magmus one, definately gonna use that in the future. :)

About the hotkey-issue, I'll go check the mod section. I'm just too used to being able to hotkey buildings from dota etc.

Is there a way to transfer all items from homebase depot to the hero in the same way as the courier does?

And to access the depot with a hotkey? Gets kind of annoying to enter it if you have your hero, courier etc. standing there making the little pop-up button for depot unable to reach.
