Random mini-disconnects / lag since patch [UK BT Broadband]

As with several other users, I am experiencing short mini-disconnects [the dc icon pops up for anything from a second to 10 seconds, rather than disconnecting from the game entirely] in-game every now and then, sometimes it happens only a few times during the match but other times every minute or so.

Having read several threads on the same topic, it seems a common cause is the fact that we all are using BT as the broadband provider in the UK. I'm not entirely sure whether or not it's mere coincidence that the problems became noticeable only after the most recent patch.

I've tried pathping to an EU server several times today, with varying results. Shown below. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it makes any kind of battles in-game very frustrating.

Yes, linx.as49544.net, is having problems. You can see that it has 82% packet loss. Any data that goes through that route will have problems until that cable/node is fixed. There's nothing you can do but wait for it to be fixed. There have been problems around London for a few weeks now. My guess is there's some major fiber maintenance taking place.
