Knowing people that have been banned and just having been banned myself for an inappropriate nickname I would like to suggest a filter similar to chat that will not allow you to make a name containing terms deemed inappropriate. This seems like it would save a lot of time for those handing out the bans. Obviously this cannot work on more "creative" nicknames, but stopping blatant violations before they happen seems pretty reasonable and simple to implement. At this point the system lets you make whatever you want as long as another player does not have that name, with no regard to what that may be, which seems a bit backwards since as soon as someone reports the player or they make a noticeable forum post someone has to take the time to ban them.
