Gold Coins on level up?

So as the title says, whenever you go from i.e lvl 2-3 you get like 10 gold coins or something, thinking of it as the same as Tetrisbattle on facebook, if you ever played that, you know that anytime you level up (not rank) you get 1 cash.

I think this probably could be a good idea, but not too many coins per lvl, because that will make the coin prizes go up and you would have to spend more IRL money to get the small coin packages.

1 gold coin for lvling to lvl 2, 2 for lvl 3, 3 for 4, and so on. so at lvl 100 you only get 99 coins.

Agree, a lot of games give real money tokens when you reached a kind of level.
I think this can be a good choice.
At least just a couple a golds dont kill no one, lol.

Hmm, I don't think this idea could be implemented, as much as I would like it to, the gold coins are pretty much one of the only ways I know that HoN can profit from players now that the game is free

Yeah true.. but anyways it would take several months of playing just to get enough coins for 1 avatar, and it can be good for people who have bought many times (like myself, hehehe) who are just missing like 20-30 coins for an avatar, its really frustrating and i dont really want to buy 420 coins for the need of only 30 of them..

dont forget that part of getting people to play is having reasonable wait times, and to do that you need a good base of players who continue to play. Little things like this can go a long way. In this case small amounts of gold coins could encourage people to actually purchase gold coins to top up what they have.
