So since the recent nerf on HOTBL, i've dabbed in a few different builds and have found out that straight pbox after steamboots is AMAZING, you become a huge threat and can basically 1v2 people and snowball pretty well.

I personally prefer ghosts on pharoah as it lets you get into position to ult better. I would also probably prefer sotm over sols.
The skill build is very variable on pharoah as well. If its a range, i level tormented soul above hellfire. Granted i would have 1 skilled in hellfire. If it was melee, i would skill build just like you have. (maybe flip flop 2 and 4)

What do you think of leveling missile for harass vs going in for the kill with hellfire? I think the 200 dmg aoe pushing is useful for pharaoh mid.

No, the 1000 potential damage you get with hellfire is much better imo, you can basically solo people 1v1 and makes kidding much easier, plus you don't have the mana to spam your tormented soul too much early game.

i would only pharaoh mid against another melee.
the utility he adds in a lane is ridiculous.
:Steamboots::Puzzlebox::BarbedArmor: and for luxury you'll want :StaffOfTheMaster::KuldrasSheepstick: :DaemonicBreastplate/:FrostfieldPlate:
generally you will not want to go marchers on him since you will just die the moment you ult, plus the attack speed is useful early considering he has REALLY slow attacks.

ya that extra 130 hp you get from steams is such a game changer.

Then I guess Steamboots shouldn't be bought on anyone, with that logic. They are perfectly fine on pharaoh and they do make a difference.

you should go steamboots on Pharaoh. He needs that HP (and stat switch) more than he needs the damage and mobility from ghost marchers.
As for hellfire vs. tormented soul, it should be clear that it is flexible depending on the lane.
Dunno what more needs to be said really.

Maxing Hellfire offers a way better runecontrol against non-blinking heroes. If they try to race the rune, pop hellfire and enjoy a kill and a rune. Tormented soul should only be maxed in 1v2 lanes to support other lanes while sucking XP or in a 1v1 against a range hero who dominates you hard.
For itembuilds, i always tend to go for bootle into steamboots and vestments into puzzlebox. HotbL, though a very powerful item is often not need for you will jump on an enemy, kill him and leave right away. If you have a very good start, getting an hotbL after 12-15 minutes including your steamboots must not be a wrong option, for you having the possibility to dive towers with backup. in this cases, get puzzlebox or barbed armor afterwards. Luxury may be Hellflower, Sheepstick, Shivas or Behemoth Heart, depending on what your team needs. Even demoni may be considered if there is noone else on the team may getting it.

What do you ppl think of plated greaves instead of steamboots or marchers on pharaho? Is it viable 1v1 or when?

If they have even abit physical dmg like panda, dw, mk, dm, ws, ds, vj, defi and the list goes on I would get armor boots, if they have more get rott for sure. If theres no physical dmg go for steams.

Plated Greaves all the way.
+Armor for your whole team is just too good. It gives more ehp and superior movement speed compared to steamboots. Oh, and it also synergizes with puzzlebox.

I like to play paraoh.
Well, i always get to start
:IronBuckler::GuardianRing::MinorTotem::RunesOfThe Blight:
then i get :RingOfTheTeacher: to spam the missile like a boss. I use it to shut down mana and health potions.
A lot of ppl is going to say that im mad but then i get :TalismanOfExile: and :Steamboots: for some extra mana and stats, to get :RingOfSorcery: later.
Paraoh ultimate uses a lot of his mana, this is a fast way to get it back.
And finally i rush a :StaffOfTheMaster:
Paraoh is like some kind of suicide tank. His skills are for going into a battle, not for retreat from one. I ult like mad and then use the jail, while my team nuke hard to the poor ppl inside the cage. I manage to survive a lot of times. Staff helps a lot, cos if you are low on HP just ult away. Aim for an enemy creep or an ally hero, its the same, 20 seconds CD is nothing, plus the big mana pool. Have fun.
Edit: Tried that hellfire build, its great. I got immortal, and almost first blood (top guy from my team died 3 seconds before my kill) Match ID: 84081801

maybe i am just dump, and didnt got some important patch notes,
but steamboots as far as i know gives +10 str
after some calculation (10*19hp) i'd say it gives 190 hp
and yes, i think 190 hp is huge, especially as u will be foced a lot after ult.
Marchers are only viable if u are not the only initiator, and play more like ganker (and having such a good game that u know your behe heart or whatever u get wont need long)
vs lot physical dmg plated greaves seems legit (more ms, good armor, synergie with puzzlebox)
i would consider getting barbed befor maxed puzzlebox.
think about going in with ult, hellfire and barbed.
(and the fact barbed is 2200 gold, and full puzzlebox will need ages of farm sometimes)
greets MrBigMac
ps: puzzlebox much underrated item,
get it on cthuluphant nearly every game ^^

Yes 200 hp is a game changer, especially b/c u get it at a time when avg base hp is around 800, giving you effectively 25% more hp at that point in the game. Lets you survive 4 auto attacks, or 1 nuke which is easily the diff between life or death.
