As you can see, for Kinesis's default model, the projectile will release before he finishes swinging his arm forward. I suggest that the animation be sped up to match the release point better, so that Kinesis will finish swinging his arm forward right as the projectile releases.

I am not suggesting to change the release point timing on the projectile. That is a balance concern. This suggestion is a purely visual fix to his animation.

Note that Zeta Kinesis's attack animation matches properly with the release point. You can see this here:

Like other ranged heroes, Zeta Kinesis finishes the "snap" of his animation right as his projectile releases. Compare this animation to Wretched Hag or Doctor Repulsor. Their attack animations also reach their apex at the moment that the projectile releases.

You can test this for yourself in practice mode by setting game speed to 10% and zooming in while Kinesis or other heroes attack.

I think it's intended, they wanted to make it more like Dota 2.

That's probably the worst reasoning I can think of. It would make more sense to have the animation match much of their already implemented range heroes. Visually it is unappealing and to the newer unskilled player it will make last hitting/animation cancelling far harder.

Streamlining release points helps reduce the skill ceiling for needing to perfect minute differences and makes skill more based on the strategy of the game. It also makes the animation more visually attractive.

HoN has differentiated itself from DOTA2, therefore I think it would be a step backwards if this was the actual reasoning.

Bumping this. I want to see this fixed for the next patch - it shouldn't take very long for their art team to recalibrate the animation speed to match.
