Replay Viewer

Hi :)

this is not really a website feedback


its about the Fan websites who got forums for this game.
will incase when replays are available and ppl start sharing them its better that the attachment can view the heroes name and items and other stuff ,, APM , CK ,CD and more and more.

I'm pretty sure it will be here at the forums attachment but in the other forums like for example (Arabic Forums) who prefer the arabic lang to discus replays ,they will need a replay viewer for there attachment

I run a Gaming forums and there is a section for Heroes of Newerth and this section will be expanded as soon as the replays are available. and we need a replay viewer , ppl will start like it and mb even get to see the game becoz there are some good stuff like replay viewer.

All I'm asking for is that to share/give a script for VB forums so they can install replay viewer on them.

I hope i get to deliver the right image for what I'm asking for.

Replays will only be able to be watched from within the game as far as I know

I didnt mean to watch the replay by the Replay viewer,


the replay viewer will only show you the heroes and the items and some other info about the game

and it dose NOT let u see the whole game

its almost a pic of the detailes about the game thats all

You can already do that. Each replay will have a specific match id, and all the match stuff is already kept online.

I ment if I go to the forums and get to upload a replay at the attachment
I will get the link to download the replay only

I dont want that ,, I want before I download the replay is that I can see a match detailes
and that can be done in DotA as you can see in forums when you upload a replay it shows u a lot of detailes about the match BEFORE you download the replay

You mean I can get that match ID and try to type it ingame or some website and see the detailes ? if thats the case I dont think its a good idea

its better that when some1 visit a thread and saw the match detailes , at that point he'll decide if he wants to download the replay and see it or not

its easer and better for the visiters to just see the match detailes rather than typing a match ID into a website or into the game it self.

With HoN i'm pretty sure that all replays will be kept at a central place, so there wont really be any replay files, just a game number that people can check on the hon website or ingame. Although I guess you could create something similar based on that.

On the subject of replays I'm wondering will replays have multi-view support?

Example, I play the match as Pestilence and after the match is over can I view the replay from any of the player's POV (maybe by switching with a mouse left click, etc.)?

then its possible to give a secript that can read the match ID and make a screen on the detailes of the game

and that secript can be install into a Vb forums

if that can be done then its really a very good way to make ppl watch replays and ask about the game in forums,,
