I think the ability to deny DoT affected heroes should be removed, because it makes heroes that rely on that DoT (mainly slither) pretty much useless in higher ranked games. It's not uncommon to see 3 denies in one teamfight, which just distorts the way the game is going. You can see allies die helplessly when they're being chased by :bloo:, but put a dot on them and you can deny them from 10% HP orso? To me it really makes no sense to keep this in the game..
It also bugs me that some DoT allow deny, but others do not.. Either all abilities that give a DoT should allow denies, or none (preferably the latter, obviously)
I hope you take this into consideration and that we can see a change soon )

Most dots are easy to land and do high damage at the cost of being cheaper than normal out-right nukes.
I denialbility and damage over time nature of those abilities is a fair trade off for the advantages.

Every hero is countered by something. DoT heroes are countered by A clicking. Besides it's great mental skill to be able to quickly deny someone during an intense team fight.

In all honesty, in high level play you should be allowed to deny any hero at any time. The problem is that's too griefable in low-level play.
