Voice chat issue

Hello dear tech supports.

I am having trouble with my ingame chat in my apartment at the dorm where I live. The weird thing is that when I go with the same computer and settings to my parents house it does seem to work fine.

The question then stands what is the problem here. Normally when we have a connection problem (especially with games) it has something to do with the fact that we block a lot of ports to "fight" piracy and downloading in general.

The question is then if the ingame voice chat needs a port forwarded in order to function properly? I have had the problem since the dawn of time (so nothing to do with a patch) but only where I live now.

Hope you understand my problem and can help me figure it out since teammates often complain when I cant seem to hear them ingame :)

I still have this issue and I could really use some help and guidance as to how I could fix it. I read in another post by [S2]IAmRoot that and I quote:
"You shouldn't have to open up the whole computer, or anything at all. Sound like a terrible router :/. HoN doesn't need any ports to be opened."

So if it is not a port issue then I do not get what it is. When the issue is there on a computer at one place, but the problem is fixed on the same computer at another location then it must have something to do with the first location.

Hope somebody is able to assist me in fixing this issue as it is getting annoying and at the level I play the game the ingame voice chat is a big part of the team game.
