I believe the tournament had two teams with the same name. This quality control isn't the 'real' one so to speak.

The game was pretty much rape though, Pharaoh losing to Valk mid and Madman + HB failing top was pitiful.

Good commentary and I liked the fact that I didn't have to rage at the camera. Sure, he missed a few things but all in all he did a good job and caught most of the kills.

However, the game sucked. QCo and Clan Clan are just at two different levels, oh well I'll be waiting for the next VoDs hoping they aren't quite the steamroll this one was.

Congrats to Clan Clan for making it to the finals. Congrats to the victorious FFS!

For me personally that was the worst performance ever in a match - I made a lot of mistakes, roaming too much instead of getting some basic survival items and maintaining top ward. Looking over the replay the team mistakes were well noted - we usually maintain wards much better but that was dropped severely that match.

There was also a problem with picks - we gave them too much control - all of their picks have a lot of presence and multiple control skills very early in the game, as well as scaling potential - while our strategy wasn't well defined. This is something we knew could be an issue and tried to prepare for but didn't work out that round.

This replay was great to watch - I only remembered the bad plays, but it shows some of our better moves too. Clan Clan definitely played a level higher, as expected.

Correct, both QCo and Clan It got a bye (SAND, 143 were no-show), and we won the first match against Clan-It.
Too bad a higher seed match took priority and our first tournament victory didn't get a VoD. :)

I was pressed to find a good name with HoN's bullshit "tag taken" policy and limited tag pool. The name was inspired by the Quality Control squad from Subspace Premier 4v4 League - Pro Division Champions (~1999-2000). Shortened to Quality Co by the client, hence the tag [QCo]. There was a reason why we haven't initially noticed you and weren't sure if we should concede the name:

This tournament was the first time QuC and QCo tags were displayed in a HoN tournament. I could not find an earlier reference. I do not see a problem here considering the clear difference in clan tags - there is no confusing in the actual brackets and among people tracking the competition. You're clearly and justifiably higher rated right now, and perhaps that will remain for some time. But we are quite determined to overturn that order.

P.S. The most important point - I believe this day was a clear victory for us as a new team, considering the amount of high-rated no-shows that day. I have the utmost respect for everyone who showed up and participated. We'll be back!

P.P.S. I liked the casting, your voices were fine and camera work was good - it was a very map-control and small-fight oriented match, tricky to capture with one "camera".

Stridah is doing the casting and the camera movement, and in this game the casters were not moving the camera, so it's very hard to synchronize the item displaying and the casters.

He doesn't check items early on, but he does an almost full rotation at some point during the game. I guess it'd be better if he clicked people more often, but at least he wasn't missing fights besides the ones he couldn't do anything about(like when he's watching a fight that leads to a death, and valk kills pharaoh mid at the same time, can't really see both). Think he was pretty good, the commentary was pretty decent, think stridah's better but it was good enough, even though it lacked good concise information during some of the fights(besides oh wow lots of deaths).

The match though, was very one sided. Hopefully there will be some better matches in the ones that haven't been released yet.

Best VoD I've seen in terms of camera work and casting - whilst Stridah may have a lot of knowledge he is pretty lazy and leaves a lot of dead air and when he casts with others...well they're bad.
