I highly suggest you download Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm) and make use of the "Compare" tool under Plugins. Just have a copy of your old translation with the new one and open up the relevant files in the stringtables folder and see the difference!

use changelog - that's what i do.
and now i am also working on a script that should find all untranslated lines and so, but i dont have much time and the script doesnt work as expected, but when i finish it i will post it here.
imho S2Games doesnt care about fans and their projects much, do not expect any support from them.
