Hi,
i have a question about puppetmaster's ulti: voodoo puppet.
for example at lvl 1 the puppet has 450 hp and takes 160% dmg. here comes my question... 450 hp * 160% dmg = 720 dmg max (not considering reductions now). so is the MAX dmg i can deal with it 720? or does ANY source get multiplied by 1.6 even if it the puppet is overkilled? for example.. if the puppet has 20 hp left (so it dealt already about ~700ish dmg) and a pyromancer casts his ultimate on the puppet.. will the enemy hero eat the full ultimate * 1.6 or only the last 20 hp the puppet had?

If the puppet has 450 hp you can deal 450 dmg with it. The 1.6x dmg only allows you to deal the damage faster. But you are correct if the puppet has 450 hp and you deal 2x 400 dmg(1.6x already counted) for example the damage gets full transfered even when the puppet goes below 0 HP.

Yes, but overkill in just about case I can think of, off the top of my head.

Since were in the discussion of Voodoo puppet, can I ask if Codex is a good item on PM? It sounds good yes? Or is there something that I am missing? =S
no its not. the thing your missing is that codex is a bad item. and just for clarification, if the puppet only has 1 hp left you can still deal 99999999 damage with it. mid game youll be better off whiplashing the puppet than dagoning it. dagon is also too mana intensive for puppet. you want damage, attack speed, and regen. i usually get bracers, enhanced marchers, and nome's. whispering helm is decent on him, harkons and shrunken head are good luxuries.

NOw that's some thing I'd like to see what happens.
Puppet is 1 hp, enemy got healed to over the limit of Legionare's ult, Legionare uses his ult on the puppet, does it deal the basic damage to the attached, or does it kill?

Yes you can do it. You can test it in practice and 1 hit kongor. But in a normal game even with 5 puppet masters with refresher it would be a horrible strategie.
