Has anyone tried this lane in a competitive game and does it fare well at all?
Could you explain the synergy a bit better?

well you see, demented shaman snares and pwns everything and panda (any other hero here works too) assists by also attacking them
I just thought about it again. The creep wave on the enemy team dies. Panda flicks the enemy back, reducing their armor and surrounding them with friendly creeps. Shaman heals and deals massive physical damage.
It might be pretty pro. But I think that double stun lanes will be used much more commonly.

Flick (oh noes you got within 350 yards of Panda you deserve to die outplayed), Entangle, Heal Bomb of "OMFG EPIC RAPE" (they are in a wave of creeps due to Flick), Panda can either use Cannon Ball (stun) or Flurry (push back into Demented) depending on how he skilled up (Cannon Ball is better early, get that). Flick reduces armor and both are physical heroes. Panda is a CC carry so he needs farm, and Demented only needs Bracers/Boots/Wards so he can get those as the game goes on, making this an offensive lane with a babysitter.
I guess it resembles Pest + Demented in a few ways and is probably just about as viable.

Panda/Andro is strong as well. Double stun + Aurora for -armor for Panda.

I'm just noticing that Panda is a force to be reckoned with anymore and am trying to find some good synergy with him. I've yet to find anything more devastating than this combo, but as pointed out earlier, I don't see too many comp players giving the opportunity for Panda to flick them into creepheal.
its really not that hard. ds entangle, panda attacks forcing the wave to follow him, eventually gets in range to flick, and it works fine

I think this is how it works, Demented shaman + (insert hero here) = ownage.

Shaman/Panda seems very solid on paper. Shaman's slow also enables Panda to land his stun much more easily.

Best line in my experience is Polly + Panda.
Quite strong and easy to execute.
Otherwise, Shammy + Panda can work since DS can amplify physical damage with Weave so Panda can own them with Flurry, but this is only after level 6 ^^ :)

Panda is balanced because having 4 physical abilities with 0 counters that cause you to lose control of your hero is balanced.

Void Talisman works on all of Panda's abilities. He can't target and his aoe attacks don't do squat.

This lane doesn't work when panda misses his stuns on slowed targets then flicks nothing JUST SAYING.

My friend plays Panda quite a bit lately. I love to babysit/harass on Shaman and so we went Legion bottom, I anticipated an early first blood for us.
Just didn't work out that way, I really had no offense besides a low level heal and my entangle. My auto-attack is strong, but we didn't manage to do much. This didn't feel like a superior combo in comparsion to say, Maliken/Predator, Hammerstorm/Pyromancer, etc.
I personally wouldn't purposely attempt it again

What's strong about maliken/predator?
Jerziah maliken or demented shaman maliken is way stronger.

If you expect anything stronger than Hammer + Pyro, you are doing it wrong :D
Panda is better even with Pyro or Torturer, not with DS. Flick + Stun behind him + Cannonball is enough for most heroes.

U lvl up ur armor redc first, then 1 stun and 1 flick. and then max flick. pretty solid lanebuild for this, since flick has been buffed again.

I've never lost a lane with panda/shaman. At worst you drive them out of the creepline for perfect last hits, at best you tear their **** up.
I would rather have Pit Lord solo for complete lane dominance, though

Does this work? I'm pretty sure if you sleep, and canon ball, it doesn't wake them up. In fact, you don't even damage them

Polly/Panda or Pyro/Panda are good. Pyro/Panda being the more popular one due to the fact that you will die if you are caught.

Demented Shaman is a solid babysitter for any lane combination, but Panda can abuse the synergy a bit better than most.

That would probably be because of Shammy, not Panda or the synergy between them :D

Saw a Ham/Pyro vs Panda/Shaman and ham/pyro got rocked... o_o; thou the skill level between the players could have been a factor

panda shaman is very nice combo... massive damages with flick/heal, and you can force it very easily with shaman's slow and panda coming in for attacks. Unless they have lots of stuns, it's going off... strong first blooding potential.

Me and my friend did Dual panda at a LAN, we laughed so hard i thought i was going to lose a lung.
But panda goes well with alot of heros, i guess he even could fare well vs other 2xstun combos depending on who he teams up with. Great potential no doubt

Panda is absolutely horrible to lane against because of flick, so anything that exploits this is good. I imagine that Glacius and Puppet Master are two unmentioned heroes who'd work well with him.

You guys choose synergies that are just completely obvious.
I want to play a 5v5 with the only playable hero as panda. Maybe only 1 devourer because Pudge makes nice farting noises sometimes.

the perfect combo with panda is with nympora.
their synergy is perfect..
nymp heals a spot, panda flicks them into it, then cannonball, and then nymp either stun, or gives panda full mana again to continue this rape..
I did this in a game, and i had full mana all the time as panda, and we literally raped the others, and they were, behemoth/pesti... and later behemoth/hammerstorm.
and they could do nothing!
also raped a valk, maliken. with this combo

Mag Pyro is even stronger.. sk lina was one of the strongest dual stun lanes in dota and obviously carries over here.
I have actually laned against panda and demented and it wasn't THAT bad. It was only a matter of time before he ran out of mana and was not a threat anymore, then I got a linkins so he couldn't use any of his lockdown spells on me.
