Lioness Warbeast

Based on the egyptian godess Sekhmet, a woman with a human body and a lioness' head, Sekhmet would summon lions and transform into one, instead of into wolves.

Definite yes :). The fact that she's a goddess makes it more convincing for her to summon creatures and shapeshift herself into one.

Werewolves are cool, but it just makes it too much Lycan. I don't think S2 would even be allowed to do that (copyright issues and all that).

O.o no one has ownership on werewolves they're a myth going back thousands of years.

Not to mention a fact that there are a sexy few having to do with bears >.>
