To Install:
Simply download the files into the Heroes of Newerth game folder. The default locations for this folder are:
Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here
You will now have the Bloody Defiler texture. To disable it, simply delete resources1013.s2z or remove it from the game folder.
This mod does not overwrite any vital files.

Looks like he made Defiler into a sort of, Dead Bride....
But its awesome. Nice to see some Hellborne heroes redone rather than just evil Legion ones (though i did suggest Necrophora....)
Cant wait to see what you do next, assuming you continue.

Not something I need, but I like to attention to detail on the blood splatters, most recolours of late are just the whole model, so this is cool.

I had to do something similar for holy's accursed, will it override what i had to do for his? (dragging the 000000 folder thing into onto the texture file)

Here is my honest feedback :
Well done, I like it A LOT!! Never liked the original defiler that much and this already looks 100% better, good job.
HOWEVER, there are some things I think you can improve to SERIOUSLY perfect the package.
1st ) the actual projectile is purple, if you can can make this red that would be great, as it looks funny with a purple projectile and red trail.
2nd ) is similar to the 1st point however it applies to her casting animation around her hands when casting wave of death, this still shows up as purple.
3rd ) could you make the ghosts a slightly deeper red, they kind of still look pinkish?
4th ) the attack wave of her hands when you normally attack is a really dark red, however the trail behind the projectile is light bright red, could you get the two to match a bit more?
5th ) the cloud puff when you cast your ultimate is still shaded purple, would be excellent if that was shaded red.
I just want to reitterate that I think your work so far is really good, and I am using it already as is. But I recon you posted here to get feedback, and now you have mine as to how you can perfect your texture!
Keep it up, I look forward to your other textures.

I agree with all of baiNey's points, but this is still one of my top 3 favorites so far.
I have another suggestion. Try making the hero icon less grey. It looks like the icon is disabled or something.

Yeah, im using the winrar program and when i try to send that folder to the texture file it denies me
Im opening up the texture.s2z file with winrar then trying to drag the 000000 file into it

Try restarting your computer and try after.

Yes, in textures.s2z
Try to copy in BloodyDefilerV2.rar\00000000\heroes\defiler all the .dds and the 4 folders (ability_01...) directly in textures.s2z\00000000\heroes\defiler\

Sigh it isn't working correctly, Windows Vista sucks. Constant error saying access is denied, I will try again some other time I guess. Thanks for the feedback.
Are you guys able to drop the file onto the textures.s2z file without opening it up? If so what program are you using, maybe mine is faulty.
I am opening up the texture file with winrar390 i believe and trying to drag the 000000 file onto the existing one. For the operation i tell it to add and replace files, then when I hit okay it gives me an error saying access denied.

call me dumb but i dont understand how to install the 0000000 file.
the icons showup as the checkerboard, the hero's skin does as well. Skills work fine though
edit: After about an hour of fiddling with it, i've finally got it to work, and it looks wonderous.
I am in love with this deep red color so this skin is perfect for me. Thank You!
I vote change the current skin to this!

just installed this awesome texture, but faced a bug - when i use ultimate it just plays its animation, but dont attack anything (even dont play its attack animation, just red birds flying around). Please help me fix it

It is a problem that has nothing to do with the texture, I just change the color, I don´t change anything internal code of the character.

Well I too am having issues with defilers ulti. It doesnt seem to look like hit goes at anything. buildings dont take dmg from it, Did it break along with behemoths stuns this patch? Or something backfire of the texture?
