I have been watching some videos where the announcer pack that people have enabled, announce things that it is not for me. I have never had my announcer say anything about runes, missing players, or anything about game modes. I started with the flamboyant pack, then went to the british announcer, and I now have the BreakyCPK announcer pack. None of which have ever announced the runes, missing players, or game modes. I was wondering if there is a fix for the BreakyCPK announcer pack (since that is the one I am using). I have found fixes for MsPudding pack and Flamboyant pack and Badass pack, but since my current announcer is none of these, I was wondering if there is a way to fix this for my ingame experience. I have another thread that is this same problem, and a support volunteer said that they never displayed these sounds. I am not trying to troll as the support volunteer suggested, I really have heard these sounds (the above link proves it). I was trying to see if there is a fix to hear these in game sounds, weather it is a mod or a workaround or something else. I have tried going through the helpdesk, and was told that the tech team is no longer on the helpdesk, and was brought to the forums. I would like to say I have searched the forums and found a few ways that have been known to fix the problem, yet am still unable to hear them. The biggest and most important thing I have tried is doing a full reinstall of HoN. I completely deleted every single HoN file off my computer and then re-installed it with no mods activated. That however did not work, if there is a way to fix this, please let me know.
