Hello everyone,
after almost of a year of living with my sound problem and not finding any solution to this other than restarting my PC over and over again, I wanted to ask for help.
I googled, I searched, I tried, I failed and succeeded but all of this didn't help in the long run.
But let me describe my problem first:
I currently have no sound at all. I can't hear music, programs, youtube, whatever. I just can't hear it...
BUT!!! my Volume Mixer shows me that I should have sound via his moving bars. Which basically means, there should be sound.
Yet I hear nothing.
And it always starts in HoN.
the sound is crystal clear 75% of the time I play. It may work for a few days or even weeks, but from time to time my computer or HoN or whatever it is just snaps.
When it snaps there is no more sound, only silence. everywhere.
The only way to get my sound back is restarting my computer.
Driver updates didn't help, changing options in HoN didn't help, searching the internet didn't help, since no one seems to have this problem ever.
There is no sign of any error, there is just no sound.
And as I said before, the only fix is a computer restart.
Is there anyone out there with the same problem and/or a fix for it?
Also I am running HoN on Windos 7 Home Premium 64Bit - latest updates
"Realtek High Definition Audio"- latest drivers
NVIDIA GeForce GTS240 - latest drivers
I can plug my headset into 3 different places, non of them works.
