Low Mic Volume

I have a non-USB mic, and can't get audible volume from it. I have no problems with it outside of HoN, and my sound driver and in-game settings are maxed. Most importantly, the volume is fine if I use the push-to-talk setting, so the problem is certainly with HoN rather than outside of it. Any settings/config I can change to fix this?
