I've been playing for under a week and today I went 17-2 with slither (match ID 9047029). Was very proud of myself.
Also went 12-1 with moon guard today, 12-1 with panda, 8-4 with tree, 6-2 with war beast, 6-1 with madman all this week.
Am i good or are these heroes just OP?

I think madman is considered OP and possibly slither, not sure. I know nothing about the rest.

Just typing up stats like that won't decide if you're good or not. I had 15-0 today and I'm one of the worst HoN players I've seen to be honest. There's more than just the numbers, like the players you teamed up with and the ones on the opposing team.

Showing a replay(this function is not implemented yet... or is it?) to people or playing against/with them will show If you're good or not.

Mate, i had no dota experience at all and i guessed that getting boots upgraded first would be a priority for most heroes, he isnt an elitist jerk, he is just a bit of an ass who probably doesnt want to help, but i didnt even know what a wingbow was until about 2 weeks of playing so yeah your doing well considering you have only been playing a short time

I'd say that's impressive for under a week. I remember starting out at DotA, I kept dying to creeps because I didn't pay attention while playing bots LOL

The heroes you used are pretty easy and effective against other new players, and thus misconceptions about these heroes being "overpowered" arise. (The big daddy of all overrated heroes being Arachna.)

If you're playing easy mode, these heroes, all being carry heroes, have an even greater advantage over other hero classes because they reach their potential faster and other hero classes just can't keep up with them in EM. If you are playing EM, I suggest you move away from it as soon as possible - the longer you stay on EM, the harder it is to get off it and advance as a player.

Whereas the choices you make in low-level games make little difference in the outcome of the game, in higher-level games, you need to buy correct items and such in order to win. (You won't win if you get a Wingbow on Pyromancer in any decent-level game.) I suggest you look up premium guides (There's one in my sig :D) and such to improve your play.

you played pub and you won with 4 carries on your team. obv the other team wasnt that great and again... you played pub and the fact that you have only 3 assists means that you got lucky a couple of times to get the kill/s (pred & riki 14 & 17 assists)

U can try adding me as a buddy and finding me when i'm online to play if u wan. getting buddies to play with makes the game alot nicer :P

Your stats show that no, you are not good. Really not anywhere near it yet. But for playing for only 1 week, you are learning fast. Playing em makes the game unbalanced and therefore makes those heroes you mentioned pretty much OP. To improve faster, don't play em, don't play noob only games, and learn to last hit/deny. however, EM is a good way to stack psr so you can get into better competition so you don't play with feeders.

And @Himura - There are pros in this game. That's why even in beta, there is competitive play. Obviously, they can still continuously get better, but you can still pretty much consider them pros.
