Thanks Chavo, for finally removing it. :)
I still wonder, why so few admins realise, that getting rid of the visible post count drastically restrains spamming.

It's all part of my secret plan to take over the world.
But seriously, it's an experiment.

I like post count, shows who is active on the forums, there really is no reason to not display it other than to cut down on spam. People who want to spam will spam anyways.

I need to know whether to be mean to someone or not. Every once in a while there's someone with over 800 posts and I've never seen them. I want to be nice to these people, S2. Let me.

Post count isn't at all relative to any game-pertinent discussion, and serves no purpose other than a forum-based dick measuring stick. Posts should be taken on the merit of the content and prejudice should not come into play thanks to a snap judgement on someone's opinion based on how many posts they have.
Hell if you ask me Join Date shouldn't be displayed either.

it would be good to see post count again so we can avoid making signatures for people with one post count, that one post being a request. then we make a sig and they never use it and we have just wasted a fair bit of our time. but thats just from a sig makers perspective. in regards to spam its a good thing, but people who want to troll constantly are going to do it anyway. Getting rid of post count doesnt give them a life.

But you can always. 'show public profile'
I just like post count since its easier to spot troll/throwaway accounts.

I would've been Jun easily if I used my invite instead of thinking I'd never stop playing DotA.

Just remember guys, its not the quality of your posts, its the quantity of your post count.

I like it better like that. I find myself paying more attentions to posts, regardless of "olol 22 posts only noob" and "omg 1800 posts forum vet".
