So i found out how to make the s2z file! Dont see what i was doing wrong thou, but heres the update as promised! Complete with new icon!




To Install:
Simply download This (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jmzmoygzwdx) into the Heroes of Newerth game folder. The default locations for this folder are:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

Now, using a program such as 7zip/winrar, open the file textures.s2z.
Move the rest of the folders in the rar into this folder. (Note, the main texture files (000000, 000001 etc, wont overwrite any files, but if you choose to use the new icon, that will. Ive supplied a copy of the old icon incase you would like to revert to it.)
You will now have the Evil Booboo texture. To disable it, simply delete resources1015.s2z or remove it from the game folder.

To install the icons, you will have to open textures.s2z and browse through, 0000000>heroes>yogi>icons , and place the icon_1.dds file in there

This mod does not overwrite any vital files.

Looks nice, I'm working on a reskin of Wildsoul and Booboo atm as well.

Edit: If you look at his guide and also read this: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=36202 you can figure out what to include in the package.

also i spent more time trying to find a guide/trying to get the s2z thing to work, than i did on the texture. I read Warchamps guide on how to package it but couldnt get it to work, i think i may have used the wrong file or made it into a zip wrong (i just renamed the end to .zip, didnt use winrar/7zip)

And i realise i may have only had to use some of those folders to get the texture into the game, (the 0000000,00000001 etc files) but i just installed them all to be safe.

People posting textures should start doing it in the master repository since It has a texture repository in there and we can orgnize numbers easier so no ones conflict

i think the master repository is only supposed to provide links to these mods/textures/etc. otherwise it would be very difficult to keep track of suggestions and stuff for each mod or texture.

If you didn't read the thread, the reason this texture doesn't have a number is because the poster doesn't know how to set up the .s2z file that enables/disables this mod.

Added a .s2z file, and a new icon. Hoping to make more textures in the future, and if anyone has any requests (god knows i have a little imagination) then feel free to PM me or reply!

it pained me to read that, texture looks cool though
