Vista 64 no sound

I run audio through a Bose Companion 5. Default format is locked, so the work around doesn't work. I run on Win Vista 64-bit. Sound has been out since the 2.5.2.1 patch.

Re-installed, sound is still not working. Sound works with all other programs. Sound even works when I watch a clip attached to the message of the day, but no game interfaced sounds work.

If you can't somehow set it to only use two channels, you probably have to wait for a patch that fixes the issue.
